The button was not installed in the factory. It was installed by redrobin aftermarket by dremelling a hole in the dash
The cops in NFS Most wanted 2012 are really baffling me... I got the pro-reinflats from most wanted races in the Ariel Atom, replaying those will be the best way but IMO replaying those races 2-3 times per car is too much of a stupid grind to be worth it. I tried getting them via a police chase in the Raptor. Took me awhile to get above heat level 3, but once I passed level 3 I was at level 6 next thing I knew. At heat 1&2 the cops are actually rather good, they work together to pin the player to a wall very well. That may have something to do with the fact that I've only played the Raptor (turning radius of a tug boat) and the Atom (just the right length to get stuck sideways in seemingly every alleyway I go into). At higher levels however, they really suck. I've been trying to get the "hit by 5 spike strips" milestone via a free roam police chase. This chase has been going on for about 15mn as I type this with the game paused... They have attempted to hit me with spikes twice. The first time, they launched it on the wrong side of the highway. The second time I didn't even see it. That's all, only two times in this lengthy chase. There has been a Rhino in the background for awhile now, he hasn't done anything. The Explorers come at me at high speed but pass without attempting to do anything. The Chargers go on one end of the highway and fling themselves to the other end, never even getting near me in the process. Just by driving at around 120mph I have been outrunning them a lot. I've had to come to a complete stop and wait for them a couple of times. At heat 4 I took out all of them accidentally and had to wait a good 40 seconds for more to spawn, half of them drove away from me... I don't understand these cops... Who's idea was it to make the pro-mods just a big boring redundant grind... Update: been doing the pro-reinflats from the first most wanted race. Doesn't take too long. The cops are still getting on my nerves. At one point I was hiding in my Caterham in a corner during a cool down with 2 cops on the other side of a building. One cop respawned behind me. Being that I was in a corner, I had no way out, so that sucked. The cops tend to crash by themselves a LOT once over 70mph, but this was a low speed chase in the park and the neither cop near me was moving much. Maybe they both got stuck and the game decided to place it in the closest legal spawn to me, I dunno. Regardless, that was really annoying... Also, I'm sick of racing DLC cars and finding them in the world even though I don't have any DLC. Seriously EA?..
In The Crew, there were some errors with police there too. They can barely see me if I turn, and I'm ahead, so guess what they do. PASS BY THE STREET I'M GOING DOWN, until learning their mistake. Also, I had once police not even there at all to chase me, wasting my time entirely. Also, sometimes police is far from you if causing a pursuit manually, or in other words, triggering cameras to the limit. Plus, you have to be lucky if they would EVEN BE police cameras at all. I wasted so long in the DC area after failing TWICE to have a decent pursuit, then next time I went there, after coming back to the game, it worked finally.
Well if you're an example of what a Boston education gets you, I wish to not visit Boston for protection of my own sanity
Well let me spoil it for you, have you been to London, it's like that, but Boston have more American things like Miles, Gallons, and LHD cars.
And again proving yourself of below average intellect. England uses gallons. England uses miles. Admittedly an English gallon is slightly different from an American gallon but hey ho. Do you ever think about anything you say before you say it? Do you even get why I didn't want to go to Boston? It was to avoid plain stupidity
Well I didn't know that, to be honest I thought England used Miles do to how many people bitches how America is the only country that uses Miles, and Gallons. And they think we should use Kilometers, because it's the true way. I do get why you don't want to go to Boston, it's a dark shithole that is full of dumbass sports fans who think their team is the best. I hate the city too, but I hate any city, to me a lot of them have similar problems.
what? You know what. I am not even surprised anymore when you say stuff totally stupid/wrong. It is a copyright offense to do so
But you don't need permission to mod a car into a game, if you want examples just look at the mods in this game, all of these mods are base off real cars, 6/10 of them didn't change anything about the design, expect the badges. No if a game company did the same without changing a thing about the car, and sold it for 20 bucks, now that's copyright infringement, but mods are normally done by 2 or 3 guys with a lot of time on there hands and they releases it for free on a mod site, (like this site).
Modeling a real car yourself is one thing. Taking another modder's model and using it is another. While both are de-jure illegal, the car company won't usually try to sue a person who made a free mod of their car for some game- they don't care. Using another modder's 3d model can have worse consequences, especially if you don't credit the author (though most likely you'll just have to remove your mod from public access and that's all, no lawsuits etc).
WoT story time again. Ranting about this stuff is the only way I can play this game without losing my mind from the stupidity of the player base. Spoiler Tiger I, tier 9 match, Fjords map. I got into a good sniping position where I could spot my own targets using my 461m view range. Binos and a poor crew, no vents or skills. The Tiger I had way better view range than I realized. An allied type 62 went to the north to spot, saw a Pershing and ran away to hide in a spot where he couldn't really do anything. Stayed their until he died. Kept pinging me on the map and calling me stupid for not charging the Pershing (after 30 seconds it became a Pershing AND a Lowe). When our south flank fell I left to defend the base, that's when the type got really pissed. Told me to "go back to mineCraft". Me, a 112, and a jagdtiger worked together fairly well to defend the base as the type hid in a mob of allies, did nothing, and died. All while multiple people in said mob complained that the 3 of us weren't helping them with those two enemies. You can guess everyone's result at the end of that game and their account stats. Its unfortunate how easy it is to guess people's account stats based on their behavior in chat. I started blacklisting such keyboard warriors at the suggestion of someone I was talking with in a match a couple weeks ago. Someone actually nice in a WoT match, that was shocking. I use to only blacklist people who were keyboard warriors in PM, now its reserved for either case. Up to 19 on the blacklist. I haven't been able to blacklist everyone I have wanted to since WoT friend list server is rather sketchy on the NA and EU server, it'll go down often for extended amounts of time. It's really annoying when I want to platoon with my recruit.
Okay, inspired by @ManfredE3, I think I'll share my multiplayer experience. Mine is quite a doozy I think. Spoiler Back in either August - September, done forgot which month it was, while browsing through my Steam's Discovery Queue, I had discovered a game called Crossout, which looks like every Mad Max fan's dream come true, you construct post-apocalyptic vehicles and battle other players Mad Max style. I definitely liked what I saw, and since it was free, I downloaded it. What could possibly go wrong? A lot actually. Everything was fine when I started playing. I participated in the matches with no issues and it all felt fair. The health and power of all the player vehicles felt like they were evenly adjusted. I started to notice that something was wrong as time went on and my levels went up. The matches slowly started to get very unfair, the opposite team had very unfair advantages over my team. There were several times where my vehicle was in perfect health, holding up just fine, and somehow another player was able to one shot me like I had only 1% health. It got so bad that it got to a point to where I'd just bail from matches so that I wouldn't have to endure the unfair losses. The only time I'd stay is if I was desperate enough to collect resources, like scrap iron or parts, some of which I could sell because I had plenty at my disposal. One type of match I really hated is where you had to capture a base by getting into a highlighted space and stay there as a timer counted down. If it got bombarded with the opposite team, they would assume control. These I felt absolutely played favorites, and it wasn't always for the team I was on. I'm positive that the majority of them were not in my teams favor. Since it was a massive multiplayer game, I wanted to play without losing my cool. Well, forget that am I right? I would type messages like "not cool" and "cheater" whenever somebody or a bunch of people was obviously not playing fair. I even considered blocking people, but I didn't really know who to block, so I didn't do it. I was convinced that they were either hacking the game or using trainers, exploiting something. I didn't bother looking into it, I was more focused on other things. I ended up finding its player vs ai games, I think they were called raids, better than the player vs player multiplayer, which I saw as testing my sanity. Sadly, the game kinda punishes you for going that route, as you need gasoline to even participate in the raids, but the multiplayer games doesn't. With how bad things were going, I sought help ingame, and got in touch with what I believe was a developer, but his advice really didn't help. I think a lot of the things he told me were stuff I had already tried. I was desperate just to level up and get better stuff. Every method I would try to counter the unfair players would work maybe one or two times, but somehow it would find a way to backfire on me. One example was getting a better cab for my vehicle. The one I really put my sanity at risk for was the Jawbreaker, a Hummer like cab. Even then, when I finally got it, it didn't do jackshit to help my problem. Another thing I worked hard for was getting better guns and a scope so I could shoot far away targets, both of which failed me as well. IIRC, I only got about 50 hours in before I decided that the game had become a chore, and that I wasn't enjoying it anymore, so I uninstalled it, though Steam keeps mentioning it, and its folder is still in steamapps. In the end, Crossout isn't worth your time. It's full of cheaters and other types of players with unfair advantages over you. It looks enticing, but eventually you'll feel like it's an unbearable chore rather than a game to have fun with. And to be perfectly honest with you, I do believe Crossout has poisoned my interest in multiplayer games. I really don't want another experience like it.
Gaijin (War thunder developers) publish Crossout. Gainin has an... interesting... history with treatment of players and community contributors. My favorite was when they had a special sale where everything was marked UP. Also known for censoring negative reviews and generally terrible treatment towards CC's.
Jeez, I'd like to know how are they managing to even keep players? At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if everything ended up crashing and burning for them. I do know one other multiplayer game I've considered trying was World of Warships, but because of Crossout, I fear that it would be that experience of mine all over again.
