Vehicles need to be tuned individually to match their real world counterparts. It has nothing to do with the physics being correct; it's down to the individual vehicle creator to do a good job.

Driving the lotus 49 I had a nice little drive today, I lost control and went into the water, and then at the end I ended up breaking a steering rod, but other than that it was a great drive. fun ^_^ The Lotus 49 is a fantastic car!
