So... An update for my pc randomly freezing:

• windowed mode does help the computer not to crash
• I did a BIOS update because today my pc didn't want to start and I hope that solves possible RAM issues (yes, it was ram; today the ram led kept staying on, which meant that there was some sorta of error); maybe ram issues were the cause of the pc freezing. Who knows...

I'll keep you updated if there are other problems.

Huh? Every time I open the menus (starting ~8 months ago), I pause physics so it loads, faster, never had a problem.

Disable mods and clear cache.

Stop with the pointless posts, and use better English PLEASE.

Hahahaha I wish. It rarely installs an update automatically, even if I tell it to. I once went a whole month without restarting my PC because I thought Windows was restarting/updating for me. Learned it wasn't when I was using 6Gb with nothing open.

Here's a tip:
Never BIOS update unless absolutely needed. The odds of a failed install are much higher than it actually working, that's from both personal experience and friends/internet.
Also, how much ram do you have?

Any ETA on the next hotfix? I got my 3-pedal set today and now I really want to drive up the hills in WCA with my stick, but 9 times out of 10 it doesn't hold FPS.

 

I found a problem with the description of Small Island and its license plates. The description puts it on the east coast, yet the plates are from Texas.

 

CTRL-E gives just white screen, no cars if physics are paused for me.

 

Odd, no clue why.

 

I Tried Inserting It but it didn't work.k y 0. 7 nomi steering wheel was yellow.

 

Its been like this for awhile. I believe the license plate is a temp plate.

 

Couldn't they switch it to the ME plate? According to Small Island Chase, Small Island is close enough to Firwood to be contracted with the FPD.

 

I honestly am interested in seeing what happens to all of the maps that have Texas default plates or are situated in Texas (Small Island, Derby Arenas, Port and Industrial). They might just receive different license plates after the devs pinpoint which state(s) they are closest to, or they might receive changes in the flora to make them look like they are from Texas.

 

I think the Suburst police skin used in that chase is used because it's the only one in the game because the devs they want their skins perfect. Also Small Island USA does not have a dock or runway so the only way of getting a car their is by a difficult ship landing or helicopter. I think the Scenario is just for fun. Also all the smaller maps (Small island, Port ect.) default to Texas plates since the base game unique license plates were added.

Small Island is off the East coast usa, and Derby is defiantly not in Texas (not sure where though but it has to be further north) and as for the other "small maps" I don't know where. Port might be in Texas due to it facing south.

 

My pc wouldn't turn on before the bios update. The orange led (which is the dram check) stayed on and the pc failed to boot several times. After the update the computer boots correctly and the game and Windows are stable

 

1. I don't have mods disabled, but I am very sure it does not matter

I've found floating rocks and a floating bush on the hill near the race track.

 

Today I've had another bsod (played in fullscreen): the critical error from Event Viewer was "41 - Kernel Power". I looked on the internet to find out more about this and it may be caused by ram or psu. Damn...

 

Here are some things you may want to try:

• Reseating the ram. Take the sticks out and put them in other slots.
• Using a different power supply.
• Running Windows Memory Diagnostic. You have to restart your computer to do it. If it detects problems, you need to replace your ram.

 

Finding it really hard to even reach 60FPS on my GTX 960, even on low graphics at 1080p.
Load up WCUSA on the highway. It is struggling to get 45 FPS and that is with Shader and Lighting quality on lowest!

*note* that this is with 100% GPU usage

 

Sounds bit like WCUSA bug, however have you checked with benchmark or some other game your GPU is performing normally?

 

restarted the game and it fired up 60FPS with about 70% GPU usage, smooth as butter but definetly shows my GPU needs an upgrade. Those damn miners jacking the prices up
