I am planning to get a new phone soon. But right now, I am not sure, which one. I need a phone, that has a great battery life, camera, performance. Currently thinking about IPhone SE, Samsung Galaxy A5, ... What would you recommend?

Budget is : MAX 400 euros

Samsung for sure, a lot better performance than the iphone and you can expand the storage if you need.

from my experience the Samsung is more reliable and can just operate a bit smoother, also is a bit stronger if you drop it. The i phone has a better camera though

The things that I use the most are camera, internet, games.
(My current 2015 Galaxy J5's battery life sucks)

Nope, not interested in Sony phones.

You should think it as an option, I've used several Sony phones (including current Xperia E5) and can say they are bulletproof. Not literally, but still, they do last long.

But seriously just get a flip phone. There cheap and simple plus there are some good ones out there. They also are difficult to break the screen.

Galaxy S7? Moto Z2 Play? Look around or used and you might be able to spot an S7 or an S7 Edge for decent money, I got my S6 edge+ for £204.95 (234.89).
