Avenger is the only one that still has its fiberglass texture, even then its still outdated --- Post updated --- honestly wanted someone to do this for awhile, there used to be a Gavril D series on it but i guess it was taken down, I have spent hours looking for it
I haven't been active for a while but I am here now (If you even noticed) and I have been using an older GD and Trophy truck pack. I noticed in the older one when I got some sick air and landed really hard on one side of the suspension it stayed relatively straight and I was able to drive around still, but with the newer updates I cant do that now. Landing hard on one side completely destroys the suspension and makes the truck lean so far over that it could reach a penny on the ground. Did you do this for realism? Or just the game doing its thing?
That's actually a really good question. I've noticed that the truck leans to the side after jumps also, but I just assumed it was for realism. Im curious to know if its just side effects of updates that have come through. There is lots of tuning options so you might be able to tinker with that and make it stronger but idk.
it's with the swaybars. when you land, they get tweaked to one side if the landing is hard enough. it happens on real trucks too
Go to 2:00 super hard landing but stays perfectly straight. But I respect the fact that you guys put so much detail into the trucks to make them realistic. --- Post updated --- Nevermind I found a fix. You just have to go into adjustments and slide the swaybars all the way to the left. Like around 10%.
the swaybars are tuneable IIRC. don't know if they can become more resistant to hard landings Ninja'd
So I know this is a little off-topic, but I'm asking if someone could help me with custom textures in my map. because it looks a little boring right now. Here's a link: https://beamng.com/resources/indoor-tractor-pulling.3310/
From recent tests of the newest beta, I've noticed the deformation of the bodies are a lot more fluid feeling. They like to stick together now longer and easier as well. For example I ripped the whole top of grave digger off after a hard landing (remember how I asked if that was possible) well now it is and it was awesome! The windshield peels off nicely as well. As for handling the truck feels like its in the right area weight wise like it feels fluid to drive when its weight is being thrown around (It feels shall I say predictable). I'm gonna mess around more with them and see if I notice anything else but very fine job F2YS.
I decided to clean up my mods folder and I deleted CRDTest V2. Still have all the old addons and such. Now I have no engine sounds. Anyone have any idea why? I attached my log
just found a bug in the powertrain system. crank everything = shaky death. i just wanted to give it low gear ratios for playing around on the crawl central map. then this happened. vid up whenever.
