Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno/Levin for Beamng.drive General: After a long time of development and many, many hours of working on this Toyota AE86 I finally feel like to release this beautiful mod. It is and will be definitly the best mod I have created so far. The Hachiroku is one of my favourite japanese cars ever built. The 4A-GE engine is a very funny and good sounding engine. It was built from 1984-1987 and got many facelifts during that time The mod itself is based on the 200bx jbeam, of course with lots of additions and modifications to the jbeam. It's a 4 in 1 mod which means that you can drive the Trueno Hatchback, Trueno Coupe, Levin Hatchback and the Levin Coupe just with this one mod installed. There are lots of tuning parts avaible f.e. Seats, Steering wheels, bumpers, hoods, spoilers etc. This mod is a "No permission mod"* *That means that you can create skins, configurations, parts etc. for this mod without asking for permission or so, you should just credit me or link this thread so I can see it too. Features: - 4 in 1 mod - many realistic configurations - lots of parts - some skins / skin support - adapted jbeams - two engines - latest sound update - custom engine sounds - Speed Chime sound - fully animated interior with working gauges, steering wheel, needles etc. - working lights and breakable glass - Color of the dashboard, seats and the rear doorcard can be changed - Lots of scratch made textures and parts - lua files (working clock, custom blinker sound, speed chime) - custom rims - amimated engine props - loading screen images The dashboard can be converted from RHD to LHD for the EU and US models Custom seat and dashboard colors The Jbeam files are modified to fit the chassis Green Gauge lights Small insight into some of the configurations: Credits: JDW & J-Performance, JDW, GOM, VStanced, Turn 10 Studios, schumacher: Model+Textures @Darren9: Lua help (Speed Chime, Blinker) @MaxGamer1995: Providing textures and models @Octothorp Obelus: Trying to help with UV-maps @nissanfan515: 20V Silvertop engine sounds @D-Troxx: Jbeam adjustments, brake discs and model lignup @thomatoes50: Clock lua @440cid: 4A-GE sounds @Joeyfuller2000,@crashmaster: Beta Tester Beamng community / Discord: Pictures, suggestions and feedback (Thank You) @schumacher: I guess almost everything else If I should have forget anyone, please let me know! Issues: - Suspension acts a little bit weired and like an independet one - Rear Taillight break texture somes has issues - Blinker Sound and Speed Chime can be heard outside the car - Some general clipping meshes, texture errors - Parts can be selected that don't fit to the selected vehicle - I recomment to not play too much with the parts selector - Some badges for some trim configurations are missing -Rear end can get spikey -Some jiggling here and there - Some parts may seem to not fit together logically but I wanted it exactly like that I basically know every bug the car has, so no need to list all issues you can find ! YouTube: Sneerik No Ivan, please no reupload. (You will do it anyways) Install the file to: Documents/Beamng.drive/mods Enjoy
Sorry for asking this, but will you make some rebadges for it? I know that quite many people don't like that, but a load of people need to see this, since it's such a damn good looking mod, so putting it on the repo would be even better
It might be fairly easy to add AE85 too for little bit more variety: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_AE85 Those are nice little cars to get groceries with
This is not going to be a real Trueno unless you do some research on the actual configurations, and create the car accordingly. This website will help. It provides period-correct real brochures for the Trueno, and basically every other Toyota. http://www.toyota-global.com/company/history_of_toyota/75years/
