Pickups are dumb in general. Also, TDI? That's not Mercedes. --- Post updated --- And you have contributed to this shitposting with what is essentially a bump. Great job!
Trust me... I've heard a guy complaining in a renault's dealership that his "mercedes A class 1.5 tdi" is way better than the Dacia Duster 1.5 DCI (even though he drives a mercedes with exactly the same 1.5 dci engine ) Some people especially over here in poland are obsessed with german crap.
1. BMW 760 and a trailer as big as possible weigh 4830 kg, well over the limit you described. And I'm sure you don't need a truck license to tow a trailer with your 7-series. Get your facts right. 3. What kind of working class person has enough money for 2 driveable cars? 4. Trucks are meant to carry stuff in the first place, not to go off-road.
Sorry, I've mistaken the weights... For the B- Category (Cars) you are allowed to drive a car up to 3.5T and tow a trailer if trailer isn't heavier than the car itsel and the combined weight is under 4250kg. With B+E you can drive with any trailer which isn't heavier than your car (under 3.5T. For trucks you've got the C and C+E category. C - is for truck over 3.5 tons without a trailer and the C+E is for trucks over 3.5 tons + any trailer. Most of the pickups in EU are for people who want to go offroad from time to time and haul stuff (like farmers) non-offroad pickups weren't really succesfull in EU. --- Post updated --- Oops
Not really, It is nearly Identical to the navara, which it was based on. Also, It uses the engine from the navara.
What? They are totally different cars, with the same engine, but both the citan and the x-class are in fact based on renaults which are way cheaper than the mercedes. And in fact I like the new duster more than the A- class to be honest.
The duster is more of "I want a cheap offroader that Is practical" kind of thing. It is rarely bought by people who actually don't use it's offroad capabilities which actually are pretty good due to low weight and 4WD instead of AWD. Lately it has recieved some nice updates with optional automatic AC, Reverse camera and overal restyle which made the top trim version more of a SUV, but the base model still is just a lifted hatchback with FWD and hand crank windows and even with no radio If I recall correctly. It is still the cheapest 4WD SUV on the European market, as the top trim with a lot of stuff still costing about the same as one of the basic Golfs or a base trim tiguan.
