Well thats not a surprise, hardware doesn't get slower with age. Other than a fragmented hard drive or physical damage/issues any computer should perform as it did when new.

    Ahem iPhones :p
Well I know they dont but my usecase for the Mac hasnt changed all that much, just general use really. But for other hardware my usecases has changed more. For example my old Pentuim 4 computer was good at browsing the web before heavy flash ads were used but then when that happened it slowed down quite a lot. Tbh if it were not for Beamng then I would probably still use a core 2 duo tbh

Recently sold my R9 390 for quite a bit more than what I paid new (thanks miners) and bought two Asus strix GTX 970s with the money. The 970 is a couple % slower than the 390 was but overall performance with SLI is a lot better and they are great for rendering.

Only downsides is the motherboard I have is a bit cramped now being an M-ATX as well as the Nvidia drivers which are pretty janky and basic.

Anything from the 6GB 1060 upwards is crazy at this point, I would have totally went with a 1070 or 1070Ti if they were near retail prices, but at the moment it seems the 900 series is the better deal, especially the 980ti which you can get for about £300-350 used here. They are a bit behind the 1070 but price to performance currently is much better with them.

Totally agree with that but would there be much improvemnt from a 750ti to a 1060 6gb?

Oh yeah that would be a massive improvement, even the 3gb 1060 is alot more powerful than a 750ti.

Its probably about 80% faster than a 1060, but the better price to performance (assuming near MSRP) would be a 1070 or 1070ti which are alot cheaper but only a bit less powerful.

So basically try and find a 1070ti then but ill probably leave it at my current pc as new cards are too expensive and my pc actually runs so better not change a running system so ill wait until my 750ti shoots itself

On another topic, Android source code released long ago. Hold on, isn't that called open sourcing? It hasn't made Android any less secure..
Oh wait, Apple. Nevermind. GLHF iPhone users!

A singular code, just the one eh?

Regardless of strange English grammar (seriously English is a weird language). It really doesn't matter. Right now Linux machines are some of the most secure going, and yet, every single line of code is available freely. Security through obscurity isn't security at all

Attempting cable management in a case that was designed in the mid 2000's with no cable management support.

It's somewhat doable, you just need time, patience, planning and a bag-o-zipties. I'm considering cutting some area's behinde the motherboard tray so that all the cables can sit flush with the side panel.
