So I have little low amount of space left on my SSD and nr.1 HDD.

I have 3 1GB HDD drives and I remembered two of them had mostly same stuff stored, so I hooked both to computer and started using Beyond Compare 4 to see which files and folders I can remove.

Everything was fine, then it happened, I selected folder from wrong drive and pressed delete key, however I quickly stopped that, thinking all is well, no harm was done, it just prepared to delete.

Bit later I discover storage drive had 100GB free instead of 30GB, there could not be anything important in those 70GB, I hope :(

Incredible easy to get from 2 backups to no files or backups.

I got 173GB free on my 240 SSD. I don't understand how people fill them up so quickly. I moved my documents, music, videos, pictures and downloads directories and games to my D:\ drive and that's pretty much that. I store small and mostly used games to my SSD and them delete them when done.

I remember when this forum first launched, I wanted to join but.. Thanks to a floppy email that wasn't possible.
Ehh I would've gotten perma'd anyways, as I was nothing short of stupid back then.

It looked a lot like that.. Besides from the archive, windows 10 desktop and Microsoft edge, it would've looked exactly like that..
God that seems like a long time ago.
Dunno why I'm talking about this because someone's going to be a happy little person and skip my entire post and say: "but you've only been on this forum since early 2016"
    I know! I was just a lurker.

I don't mind the forum layout that was updated in late 2015.. It looks more modern and sleek than what the forum previously had.
I said I'd stay.. And I will, I'm currently finding it impossible to quit anything at the moment.

I couldn't even remember the old layout before seeing the images, and I forgot why I didn't like it at first.
But we've made it this far so yay.

Yeah, seems like such a long time ago, even though its just over two and a half years since it happened.

It's actually based of a true story... that he experienced. Also, "never go down the same road twice" is definitely a lesson learned. (It's motivating as well.)

I also know that the title is actually connected to the story and lyrics, so it's also consistent.

Thx from the link, I'm actually using Firefox based browser that gets rid of some of the annoyances of official release, but seems to be that I will install Waterfox next.

Nothing wrong with a Cyberfox either, that I use for safest browsing, but I need several browsers as with very tight security settings it is bit hard to get all pages to work.

There was some issues of installing several Cyberfoxes, so had to use different browsers.

British cuisine, I have heard rumors about it, but this must be quite unique to them:

Just remember, security on the internet is a total illusion. VPNs are only as secure as the entry and end points. TOR contrary to popular belief is not anonymous if you control a node in the network. HTTPS, that's only as secure as people clicking the security certificate for every page they visit to verify that the certificate is correct as it's very very very possible to reverse Https and then stealthily substitute for a fake certificate and it's very commonplace to do this in an enterprise setting

I think the best way of not getting your bank account or social security on the internet is to avoid buying anything on the internet like the plague. I know that was kinda off topic, but hey, you got free life tip from Nick'sShittyLifeTips™.

HTTPS is like putting up a flag, here I am.

TOR is good way to get viruses and other crap to computer.

JS is ticket to trouble, malware, viruses etc.

I use a shitty computer and a second bank account for online purchases. I use a laptop for gaming. And this website,YT and social media's are all used on the laptop. This computer is about 600. Shitty computer is like 100 from a thrift store.

So I was looking at the requirements to become an Uber driver... and I found an interesting contradiction.

So, they don't allow use of the Ford Crown Victoria, which while BS makes sense as it could easily be mistaken for a taxi. However, for UberSELECT, the allow use of all Lincoln vehicles, and by extension the Town Car, which is the preferred taxi in places like New York City, and built on the same platform. But then does that mean I could potentially use the Mercury Grand Marquis? Sure, it's also a Panther car, but also not a Crown Vic.

    Odd.

Not allowing Crown Victorias? That's so retarded. A CV Uber would be cool, especially if it's a retired police unit.

And oh the hypocrisy with being able to drive a Town Car, but not a Crown Vic.

It's got nothing to do with platforms and what the car "really" is underneath, it's all just status and perception. To 99% of people, the Town Car is a cool limo they've seen in movies whereas the Crown Vic is just a taxi. They don't know or care that it's actually the same car. It makes total sense they would ban one and not the other, since the underpinnings aren't what's relevant to their business.

If there was ever a car built for shutting drunks around, it was a police crown vic.
