    After this, would it be possible to port the maps from Burnout 3? Is it even possible?

    I want the awesome rating back too, got handfuls of those.

    I'm planning on making a BIG pack with (most hopefully) a bunch of Burnout cars (proof is on this very own thread), skins for BeamNG cars, the map of course, Scenarios and maybe even a Campaign? (If that evolves), Super Jumps and Mega Jumps, and all of this brought together by the community. I can make exceptions on how its distributed, but you may have to ask personally. The map currently uses about 2GB, estimate of around 4GB on the final product. Cars won't be the best of detail (as the game is 10 years old...), but should be awesome to drive in.

    I have gotten requests, believe it or not. Nobody I know of is interested in researching Burnout 3's graphics format, but I'll let you know if its a possibility! (something BIGGER is coming after this, from a Criterion game :))

    Running normal textures should get you fine. I'm gonna end up recreating most because 512x512 for a next gen game isn't very nice..

    Mingo, I'm curious about something. Are you planning on leaving the skybox/ambient color like that? Paradise had a sort of faintly green-brown filter over it whereas Beam has a bright blue ambient filter as default:

    IDK, I just feel like it was an important part of the experience. The ambient "grimy" sort of color really added to the feeling of a gritty industrial setting filled with polluted air. Sort of like how GTA 4 did it with the "sickly green" ambience:

    Of course, this is just a suggestion.

    Yes, I am planning to recreate it with ReShade. BeamNG offers very little standard effects and ReShade is very easy to use and tweak.

    God this was the first game I got with my ps3 on my 10th birthday along with NFS:pS and that video with the overlay and the drift score just took me back. Just stumbled upon this thread so if you need any additional help like texturing or modeling I'm always happy to lend a hand. Just picked up blender not too long ago but I've used photoshop for years so I know my way around it pretty well.

    Better just mention that "UI Concept" video was all edited and matched to real game footage, not actually UI apps yet.
