Another one for me is Health. Student chaos over there, and it's a nightmare going through with the insane immaturity.
Yep but "health" classes have helped with the reduction of accidental pregnancy's and STD's. By help I only mean helped as no matter what you will have both those problems because of idiots or crazy people. Also depending on what health class you can learn first aid. (Every school is different with "health class". Both health and 8th grade biology had "sex ed" for me :/.)
Do you really think that teens bang without condoms because they don't know condoms exist? And do you really think that if a boring grown up says "condoms are cool and good", they are going to listen to him? Oh, come on! Spoiler: MASSIVE sex education rant Sex education in its current state is a major pile of sh*t. It doesn't solve any problems at all and even creates new ones. Good thing I had watched actual porn before sex ed course, or a psychological trauma would be inevitable (we had a really intense course as our country is the most HIV infected in Europe). All children mature at different rates, so what is normal for one will be disturbing for another. Sex ed also raises interest and desire for sex among minors who wouldn't be so interested in it otherwise, causing them to explore sex life- and most likely they will forget about putting on a condom. You can teach an ape how to use a knife and explain that the knife can be used only for self-defense- and it might forget about self-defense, but will certainly remember what can be done with a knife.
I never said it was perfect but since sex ed has been introduced 14 year old's getting pregnant and stds have both gone down at least in America since the 1960's. I never said it solved the problem. If you want to fix the problem........ (get beened for answering).
Written subjects, im left handed so i hate writing. Eg, English -1/10 (remembering quotes are almost impossible, hate writing) RE 4/10 (it's not actually that bad to get a pass) French 5/10 [its a language, but im only doing foundation so flat out i only get a pass ]
i everything except math and tech shit math is good because the teacher tries to look calm but you can tell he's furious deep inside tech shit is good because tech shit
Swedish. I was forced to take 5 courses of Swedish because Finland has two languages. Will I ever use it? Well, I once met a swedish guy who spoke finnish too. Tho we both spoke better english. So no, I will not use it. Also what's up with all this complaining about maths and science? They keep me alive, seriously I can't imagine my future without them (+I'm very good at them).
Call me weird, but maths is actually pretty fun Like seriously, there is only one answer and you get the marks if it is correct. English though, there are too many possible outcomes, so it is harder.
Intro to healthcare. That shit is annoying. My teacher will spend 20 minutes talking about grades and shit. Then we take 1 hour of notes that we will never use. --- Post updated --- And my health teacher doesn’t do shit so it’s a free period for me. He plays hangman with the smart kids during the duration of the class.
In my art class my teacher spends half the class telling us how terrible we are then gives us one class to build 2 clay sculptures. Brilliant.
Some people are not good at math or science and do better at a language or history. Then you have people like me who do nothing well. Yep because no matter what you do in art you will be either the best or worst artist someone has ever seen.
English has to be the most pointless thing. So far it's poetry and trying to interpret Shakespeare's english, and it's a required class.
