The rarest Lexus I saw (it was today) is this car: It was blue, and looked pretty good! --- Post updated --- This might be a shock, but I only saw once an 2017 Ridgeline, and it was today. (It was not a Black Edition though, it was a standard, and had a gray/light blue color.)
Okay, today was a good day. All the things I saw: Black Mercury Marauder Two Tesla Model X's Tesla Model 3 (I'm a lucky guy) five Tesla Model S's Maserati GranTurismo Tropical blue EG6 1987 Volkswagen Quantam That's all, folks!
(I smell a Ice Cube reference.) So, you get to see a Quantam... and I don't even see any older Volkswagen besides the Rabbit... once! Also, Rabbit. It was white, and also, obviously, had a MA plate.
Just saw today an 2018 Accord, just about my first time seeing one. Also, I was a first-timer seeing an Charger SRT Hellcat from 2015 in it's regular white color.
Small selection of some of my favorite spots, as you could guess the majority of my camera roll is cars. Here goes: Ferrari 599 SA Aperta (1 of 80, I’ve seen 2) Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Blanc Noir (1 of 500, this spec is a one-off, I’ve seen 6 veyrons total) Lamborghini Aventador Miura Edition (1 of 50, I’ve seen 2) Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta (1 of 499 worldwide, less than half for USA) Porsche 911 Speedster (1 of 356) McLaren P1 (I’ve seen 3, 1 of 375) Porsche 911 GT2 RS Evo (1 of 11) Aston Martin Vulcan (1 of 24) McLaren MP4-12C 50th Anniversary edition (1 of 50) Porsche 911 by Singer (I’ve seen 2, 1 of 100 ish?) Ferrari 166MM (1 of 39) Ferrari 275 Nart Spider (1 of 10, worth over 20 million dollars) Lamborghini Miura (1 of 275) Volvo V60 Polestar (1 of 200) Ferrari 365 gt4 bb (1 of 387) Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato (1 of 99, I’ve seen 2) Brabus G700 4x4^2 (1 of a couple hundred)
I can now say for sure that I've seen a Chevrolet SS (talking about the rebadged Holden Commodore) IRL. Before today I wasn't sure I've ever seen one. They're very rare in the area I live in. I was at Walmart today and I saw a black one parked a couple of spaces away from where I parked the Stratus.
2018 Equinox + Accord, Porsche 911 Carrera S 4, and 2016 CTS. EDIT: I forgot to mention seeing the new Cayenne, probably an 2017-2018 model judging from bumper and headlamps.
Well, more listing! (Not all of them are from today) 2018 Camry SE Pontiac Aztek Base-spec 2018 Traverse Ford Fiesta Sedan Genesis G90 Audi TT Quattro Roadster (2003) Toyota Tundra TRD Nissan Juke Nismo Mini Coupe + British Flag mirrors
I mean no offense, but could you please post rare sightings? This doesn’t apply to all of your sightings, but for example, the Toyota Tundra really isn’t that rare.
Saw a Lykan Hypersport this year. It was all black, and it was just turning around the corner, only 7 of those were produced in the whole world. I managed to get an identical image of it on Google, this one:
Well, does the car have to be rare? Shouldn't it been viewed as an first-time or a few times of cars you don't see often? I'm being honest, I don't live in a city where cars like the Aztek or Tundra TRD is that common (or seen as much as say, an Avalon). Plus, this is my listing, so the cars you might see commonly DOESN'T mean the same will apply to me. Just giving my insight.
I saw a even better car today. This is a S80 V8 AWD like the one i saw today comming from school. I know it may not sound that weird, but trust me, it is in a country where Volvo wasnt officially solf until 2014
Well, I have to agree with the last statement. I rarely see Volvos wherever I went, which is kind of surprising. The only common ones for me are 2015+ XC90s. EDIT: About the first (and only) bagged car I have seen ever is 2 times of this modified fifth-gen Golf GTI. DESCRIPTION: Although the body (parts, etc.) wasn't modified besides a gray color, there's a sticker that (most likely) says "Low and Slow". Plus, low suspension, but the wheels are stock.
You must live waaaaay out in the sticks, as I see each and every one of them everyday, literally. Edit: except the TT.
Remember, I live in the same city where an BMW X5 is a rare SUV, and an MDX is an rare CUV here. Yes, I don't live in Boston obviously, because I'm sure they would have much more of the cars I listed... with the exception of the already common cars in my city. (Although a few are first timers, like the G90, TT, and actually the Juke Nismo as well, considering I have seen less than 10 stock Jukes.)
Production cars in the wild, I have no idea. 1963 Cobra or some other American muscle car from that era probably. Production vehicle at an autoshow, still no idea. I have seen 2 Veyrons (one was a base model, I don't remember what the other one was) and 2 Ageras. In a museum, still no idea. Back when it was open I went to The Auto Collections every time I was in Nevada, there was always some cool stuff in there.
