It varies on cooler design. You'll find a large 3 fan cooler will probably sound quieter than a single fan GPU as those fans will turn slower. Also a small amount of placebo effect on the 10xx series cards, ever noticed that the fan is completely silent at idle? The card turns the fan off entirely until the card hits 60c (this does have a minor hysteresis too, I think it doesn't switch off until it's cooled to 45), of course once it engages at 60c it's gonna be turning pretty quick and so that sudden silence followed by racket gives a bit of a placebo into fooling people that the fans are louder than they are.

That said, the 1060 kicks out twice as much heat versus a 650 so it's going to need more aggressive cooling anyway with which will come noise

If it has radial fan, then it is worse than vacuum cleaner, those are useless pieces when it comes to computer cooling, too noisy buggers.

Two fans or three fans is much more quiet in comparison.

Bigger heat sink usually also means quieter fans as radiating surface is bigger, so for same air flow you get more cooling effect, like my CPU cooler, those fans don't really need to ramp up ever, it is way overkill, but it is also quiet setup:

Did a bit of radiator balancing and it's made quite a large difference. Found out that one radiator was on full on both sides, so i put it back to normal and the radiator that used to never warm up got really hot and so no more expensive electric heat used!
Although it's only a temporary fix, that was with a warm house with some of the TRVs shutting so more will need to be done.
It's a little bit annoying that when the house is cool and you first engage the heating, the radiators at the end of the house don't warm up. You have to wait for some TRVs to close first, but by then the heating timer has gone off, it's my grandparents house so i don't want to change anything as they are obsessive at keeping bills low.
Also it's a slight shame that with the fire on (that is almost always used for decoration!) it affects the thermostat and so the rest of the house doesn't get as warm.

A school shooting almost happened today. Holy shit it was scary.

Kid brought a handgun and 3 other guns. They saw him in the office and it was swarmed by cops and all the deans. This is making me think that this has become the norm in america.

Last time it happened on the bus, and the kid was flexing his muscles with his glock and shit. Got expelled and never heard from him again.

Turns out that the one who shot up Parkland the other day was on psych meds and had a long history of bad stuff going on. Everyone knew the guy was going to snap at some point, they kept telling the law, deputies were called to his house 39 times, but no one ever did anything. Un-freakin'-believable.

The kid had long hair, head down, and looked like the "school shooter" type. I don't feel safe anymore in the school.

The school is trying to cover the situation up as best as possible but it's clearly not helping.

I have been using Bing for image searching for a long time as at least it gives you the image and possibility to view originating page, like old Google images once did.

Year by year Google services are more and more neutered from what they once were.

They've always been ruined. Simple; They're too big; they are a dictatorship of the internet, and can set the rules as they see fit.

I made the switch, glad I am not the only one :p

Google's ruining everything in subtle ways so that they can still be "popular".

Yeah, I absolutely hate that. But, if you use Chrome like I do, there is somewhat of a way around it. I say this because I don't know how many of you use it, or use other browsers like Firefox or Internet Explorer.

My method is right clicking on the image. If I want to open it up, I click on open image in new tab. If I want to browse for more sizes or similar images, I'll click on search Google for image.

An extension, it works on Opera (the browser I use), unfortunately it only adds the View Image button and not the relevant size one (which I use more).

    I see.

And I don't think I heard about that browser before.

I wonder how long Fiat will continue the monstrous 500L and 500X. I don't get why FCA/Fiat wants to completely ruin the 500 and make them crossovers and MPVs, when the 500 was fine the way it was. They need to know, "if it's not broken, don't fix it."

Well, that seems like a fitting acronym.
    Also, I can't bare the 500e.

The bottom bumper really bugs me. I don't know why anybody would like a electric car with ricer holes (or stereotypical designed grille) cut into their bumpers.

They probably don't want to get into legal trouble over an issue blown proportionately out of the water. I mean image piracy? What are those people smoking? From what I picked up from that article Eastham linked, it sounds like they treat the whole view image thing like it was actively harming people or something.

I feel like that they want to restrict the Google user just for other companies, like YouTube's advertiser-friendly guidelines.
Plus, I do agree with Godzilla with the image size. I have to just hope that it's the size I want, since the size for every image in an google search is THE SAME!
    (back to Fiat 500 topic)
I'm sure that the FCA exploited to make versions out of the 500 because of it's legacy. Some are actually good, like the 500S and 500 Abarth, which they have a clear understanding of how to keep the 500 in-spirit. The others, like the 500L and 500X seem to only be cash-ins and exploits of the model, which seems to rip-off a similar car, and then slap an 500 face and rear to make it someway an 500 model.
