Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. I've been folding for the wrong team. :\ http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=teampage&teamnum=22614 Dur Anyways, might have found voltage control on my 770, and if it is working preliminary tests show 1200 is possible on 1.01v.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. Yesterday while folding my little 650ti Boost SC 2GB decided to quit going max speed and is now stuck in a low speed state.. I get terrible FPS but this way it stays really cool at least. SERIOUSLY HELP. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIX THIS FOR THREE HOURS. I AM GOING TO SMASH THIS CARD.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. Can you use EVGA x and post a screen while in use, or right after? (For the graphs.)
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. Sure, I'll do that. This has happened to me before but it seemed to fix itself after a restart or two. I've restarted my computer at least 5 times and reflashed the GPU BIOS twice.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. Nevermind. Turned on K-Boost and problem solved.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. K-Boost can be iffy. You might want to watch it just in case.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. I can't remember a good IT Crowd quote to come back at you with.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. Actually had F@H going a bit today, was at the oncologist getting some chest xrays and bloodwork done..
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. ugh. I hate blood work. Ny veins always roll too much then I end up getting stabbed due to the nurse's frustration resulting in some nasty bruises.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. I have pretty good veins in one arm so it generally goes according to plan, although when they had to put in my picc line for chemotherapy originally they stabbed me about 8 times before switching arms .
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. Sounds like tons of fun. I've had to had bloodwork done once, and they got it first try. I consider myself lucky.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. I've had one nurse poke all the way through a vein. She stabbed quickly to get the vein before it rolled and, of course, it went through my vein. That left a nasty bruise.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. So got a whole wack load of stuff for my project today, arduino hopefully coming tomorrow if USPS would update their bloody tracking.. (imported from here) In the process of testing.. (imported from here) Sorry for off-topic but I'm just excited to get this off the ground here. To be remotely on-topic here though I will commence folding once again tonight.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. Ok so that is pretty bad ass. Almost as cool as the tesla coils.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. We're about to break 7,000,000 points as a team guys! Also, check out our stats! http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_summary.php?s=&t=224614 We are running out of threats! If we can keep up 70k ppd then we aren't in much danger of ever losing many spots.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. Awesome! For my birthday I'm going to be getting a NZXT H440 White case and a FX-8320. Hopefully, soon, I can pick up a 280x for cheap. If not, I'll just have to go nvidia.
Re: Folding @ Home, Seti @ Home and other DC projects. Shopblt had amazing prices (well, more like MSRP) a little while ago. Expect to wait a month for shipping though. (OOS) I would have bought there for a 280x, but my 7770 wouldn't even boot, so I got the 770 for the same price.
