MGR 99's 3d models 'n' stuff

Here are some of my creations that I have been flooding the ''stuff I've made in Blender'' thread for far too long.

 

They look good.

 

Do you use blueprints? Or do you just use reference pics?

You should try to make a very detailed car like beamng quality with all the parts.

 

Only if I could team up with someone who could do the jbeam stuff.

I've always enjoyed seeing your models, I would love to be part of a group of users willing to bring some of them into the game.

If not the lighting, I would think they were real

 

Mostly all of the flavors of the s13.

 

not sure how I missed these up until now, really cool stuff here (i see you likke your jappibois too)

my only criticism is that the proportions of some of the cars could be better (you clearly have the skill to make a good mesh, just make sure the blueprints are good (personally I find Tamiya ones to be good) and compare to plenty of IRL reference images)

To someone who is familiar with the car, spot on proportions make a big difference (quite alot of cars in the likes of Forza have awful proportions, which I find really irritating)

But otherwise your work is superb, nice to see you can produce/finish lots of models as well (something I really need to work on)

Believe it or not I don't care much for Jap cars, the reason I am making them, they are for a project.
I make these cars quickly, so I don't care so much about 100% accuracy.

 

Yeah I had a feeling that was the case, as long as whoever is getting them is happy I guess

 

There is something I wanted to ask you, why do you use sketchUp to show off your models? Did you model them there or what?

 

Yeah I use sketchup to make my models (contrary to popular belief it's actually quite a capable program, provided you now how to use it)

And of course there is no option to render (unless you use plugin, which I could never get to work), so I just showcase the viewport screens
