Hi!, I've started this project few days ago, and since I've gotten the model mostly complete, I've decided to finally make a thread about it Here is my current progress: As you can see, the textures do not look pretty... If someone would like to fix the UV maps I'd greatly appreciate that (PM me if you want to help with UVs). If you have any suggestions regarding the model, Please let me know! Now I'll take a little brake from the model and move on to Jbeam. Once I finish the mod, It will be available only on my Patreon page till one of the goals in the poll above is going to be completed, then I'll release it on the forums (If patreon won't get any interest, then I will NOT release it.)
Bed nodes are just about in place, now onto all of the main body nodes and then beam everything up. --- Post updated --- Some progress on the Jbeam... It at least stays together... now onto making it stay together and reinforce it, then crash testing.
That is real well for a first jbeam The best I have done is a spiky shopping cart --- Post updated --- I know your probably not taking suggestions, but you should make an suv next
Well... It is my first Jbeam stuff today... My first ever custom Jbeam was the hill climb bodykit for moonhawk and then the H35/45 Vanster. This is just my first more complicated J beam in which I actually had to add nodes. --- Post updated --- SUV? Meh... More likely a wagon. SUV would require a whole new suspension setup.
Once I get the Jbeam sorted out I'll upload the WIP version to my patreon: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=9961690 It will be constantly updated over there and 2weeks- month after it gets finished I'll upload it on the Forums for Free.
You mean a hatchback or a wagon? Then most likely yes, but only if this whole Patreon thing works out, as I kind of don't want to waste that much time to work for free... I'm planning on making some sort of Burnside Special More parts mod, but only if I'd be able to make few $ from it.
Like I've already said... Wagon will only happen if I get some success with Patreon, as I'm not willing to waste few hundreds of hours on making mods entirely for free... Shouting that you want something won't work, I'm not your parent to listen to your request just because you want to.
There Is no hurry. This mod is purely my test if I can get some extra income from modding, otherwise I would not be even bothered with something like this, since driving wise it is almost the same as normal Burnside. (the rear end bounces around a tiny bit more)
A little bit more more progress on the Jbeam. (the roamer in the back is just for crash testing purposes). --- Post updated --- It is going to take some time to get it to work properly with 170km/h reverse crashes.
