no, im not, that post was NOT, there when i made that post, im 100% sure that that post did not exist when i made mine, as i looked through every single post in the thread, before making that post, just to make sure that he didnt say anything like that -_-
I've started work on this again after quite a long break due to many different reasons. Anyway I'm just happy I now have the time to spend on this and I'm glad to get this back on the road Expect pictures soon when I've got it into a more presentable form
I cannot waiting for this car to make its debut, hopefully you will have no trouble along the way, good luck!
Done a load more work on the mesh mostly adding in interior parts and redoing previous mistakes Alot more detail still needs to be added. Crappy renders as always
Thanks, I'm working a big update at the moment to make things interesting so I'll post it soon. As for the jbeam I'm not really sure yet, i want to create my own but if i cant then ill go with a modified monnhawk jbeam by Gabe. I was able to create a few n/bs for RoR and its only easier with BeamNG so I should be fine
Here's a big bundle of references I dug up a while ago, should help with door jambs and underbody and stuff:
Thanks a lot, thats really useful, stuff like door jambs in particular I was planning to do for a while so I'll put my references bellow as I guess someone else might benefit from them too. I've got stuff like removed bumpers, stripped interior and really clear pictures of the under-body while the car is on its side. Also progress will be up later today so stay tuned - - - Updated - - - Ok so after working on it for ages I've got a ton of progress done: All wheels and wheel trims completed All new frame, much more accurate New bumpers and other details for LX and S trim levels Cleaned the whole body and under body Added more detail to the doors and pillars Got most of the edges set up for smoothing Fixed huge problem I found with the boot interior Fixed problems with the under body modelling and added in small details. Started the rear axle Anyway time for pictures This time they're at least half decent renders. Steelies: "S" hubcaps "LX" rims New vs old frame: Body and things Holy crap thats alot of pictures
