The top 2 best selling vehicles in Australia are the Ford Ranger and the Toyota HiLux. This class is on the radar of fleet buyers, and private buyers. These Utes can tow up to 3.5T, and can double as the family wagon, in the Ranger's case with the almost identical Everest, which is a 7-seater. We are planning on entering this field with our all-new Ute. The Ute will be sold in RHD and LHD markets, and will feature similar specification country-to-country. The Ute will feature an All-New Terrain Management System, a class exclusive. Variants: TBA Engines: TBA Transmission: TBA
Hmm, im not putting any hope into this until the model is at least 50 percent done, or has somewhat of it ingame
Ford Ranger isn't an Australian truck,in 1983 Ford was starting the production of the Ranger in North America, later in South America and from 2012 it is in Europe,Australia,Africa and Asia. The Ford Ute from Australia is the Ford Falcon wich it has a strong competition by the Holden Ute.
The Ranger is a Pick-Up developed in Australia, not to be confused with the F150 Ranger, taht was a Trim-Level of the F150 or the US-Ranger, which is an slightly different australian Ranger. I would prefer a name like Gavril XLT or Gavril Wildtrak
So much wrong in this post. 1. The T6 Ford Ranger was developed in Australia (read the wiki article) 2. Absolutely no Aussie says "UTE" in all caps. It's either "ute" or "Ute" in the formal sense. 3. The Ford Falcon is ABSOLUTELY NOT based on a Holden. Completely different design teams, so different that there has been a constant rivalry for decades between the two.
This Light Truck, isn't a Ford Ranger. More details be be revealed closer to the release date, including engine specs and the final design.
