BeamNG doubt.

I've used the seach bar and I have not foud anny threads asking this, is BeamNG a engine oor a a game (simulator) for now?

(Sorry for myterrible gramar, but I'm using one of those terrrible flexible rubber kyboards. I'm not at my houuse).

 

lol, erm.. I have heard about having it be career oriented (not my type of simulator) I am certainly not one to confirm that...; but in any sense it should come out a simulator.

 

Those rubber keyboards are pretty hard to use, dude.

It's not a game, it's a vehicle simulator.

 

I'm pretty sure it will be both. A simulator/game aspect where you do stuff with the cars, and a sandbox mode too. Additionally, I think I saw future plans may encompass licensing out the simulation code.

 

It will have probably a career mode, so it can be a game and a simulator?

 

Why do you care so much what people call it. Ya i agree it is a vehicle simulator, but you don't need to go around correcting people.

I had one of those. It was good for looking cool. Horrible for everything else.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure it will at least have a mode that is just like RoR. (Select car, crash) It may have a career mode.

 

Yes. Exactly, first time I saw it, I thought it was amazing. After I started using it, I wanted to go home.

But yea, I believe at the moment it's mainly a simulator however with an added campaign and mods I see it becoming more of an insanely awesome game.

 

Definitely a dream come true I'll be fully satisfied with a free roam mode crashing everywhere

 

So dreams do come true... Free Roam, demo derby, campaign, multiplayer, hauling.

 

It's going to be a polished Rigs of Rods, we will see. Dream already made true with Rigs of Rods for years ago

 

Yeah, ROR was very buggy, but still fun to play!
