IMHO the 350Z was the return to Z-car origins - a somewhat bloating GT became a sports car again. And not just know your Corollas, know your Skylines. Seriously, all the times I replied to your posts was because of your lack of knowledge.
Peterbilt... They started making AMAZING looking trucks, but now they've went on to a... I guess you could say.. "Modern" look. I really hate new Pete's. I love the old Pete's. First pic is old, second pic is new.
I actually think Toyota got worse. And it started in 80's. From this: To this: Supra was doing great. It was looking awsome. And then it died. And it came back. But UGLY. From this: To this: And I actually understand. They want it to look modern. It look's ugly, but modern. But then: http://autonationdrive.com/new-supra-no-manual-option/ And that's all I think.
You know,,I feel the same about every muppet with no understanding of Corolla history or the evolution of automatics.
Well maybe you could compare a 1987 Corolla saloon instead of the AE86. The 1988 saloon was in no way worse than the 1987 saloon. The AE86 wasn't the only Corolla back then.
I don't think the Supra will look like the FT-1 concept. It will probably look more like the test mules. I guess we'll see when Toyota unveils it.
Concepts are always way more crazy then they're production variant. It will look like this. Not this Not buetiful but dont lose your crap over the prototype.
To be fair, there are production cars that look like prototypes. For instance, the RR Evoque looks like the concept with an inspection sticker. Still, I like that sort of sharp-edged double-bubble fastback design. Zagato would be proud.
I know, but most of the time concepts are what they sound like... "Concepts" not real viable cars. I cant wait for the new Supra.
Saab, once a good durable (ish) Swedish manufacturer. GM did their magic and yes the cars did look nice and had decent engines etc. but my god the thing was so unreliable! Electrical faults left right and centre, audio system was awful (seriously, you replace the headunit and on stock speakers it sounds nice). Also the design was just a bit silly and not well thought out, for example if you replace the radio the clock doesn't work as there is no clock in the car, just the radio one. JLR Build quality has kind of dropped off a cliff, yes TATA have managed to turn the business around, but things will never be the same, the cars have got lighter but as a result less jaguar-like. Less leather as this goes to the much improved Info-tainment (idk why but it was like a staple that Jaguar's had the worst satnavs!). Also questionable engine choices are a bit of an issue, RR Evoque has 4cyl only engines, so yes you can spec up to £80 grand!! and still have a 4cyl engine! at least the full fat range rover has V8 option still. But this has made the cars much more reliable, on the mk3 BMW FFRR I learn something new, not only from the 3000 page service manual but also from facebook groups, the car is just baffling, for example turning on the rear window heater has to communicate to the ECU to increase idle speed first, and then to the satnav to correct the difference in magnetic field and then it energises the heater.
Indeed, and that kinda tells how fugly it will end up looking if renders are accurate. Most Zagato's designs were... a lot of things, but pretty they weren't.
I know that, but these engines are nore reliable than renault ones My dad bought a 1° gen fluence (2.0 topline model) in 2012. Six years and less than 10.000 km later, the car has a lot of electric problems (broken gps screen, weird rear light and some doors not open at rain)
