Saying that the Käfer was ideated under the explicit mandate of the Nazi regime in order to motorize the masses is not "inappropriate content". It's history.
    --- Post updated ---
In that case, some guy went on spamming some "nazi car" insults for about 2 pages of the thread. It's not really the same thing.

I must've missed that. All I remember seeing was Nadeox1 stating how it was against the rules to post things related to that.

    I think I've said enough.

The Prius never looked great, but the current generation pushed it over the downright ugly edge.

Someone mentioned that Lexus hasn't been mentioned on this thread yet, let's take a look...

    Lexus LX570

    2012 saw a facelift

2015, what are you doing Lexus, stahp

Then the 2012 Lexus GS, this went from "okay"

    To what the hell

I wouldn't go as far as saying the facelifts of these cars don't work, though in a subjective aesthetic sense I would choose the pre-facelift model
    C210 Skyline

I think the earlier round headlight grille of the C210 makes the car look more agressive and exciting, in comparison the later C211 model looks a tad more generic and dull
    Z31 300ZX

I think that the squared off lines of the zenki overall complement the car better than that of the more rounded kouki models. In particular I think the zenki taillights look waaay better than the kouki ones do

And also I think the E46 BMW's headlights are nicer on the pre-facelift models (and the compact E46 is just god awful)

Not really a "new generation" (although the concept did wear the Lancia badge at some point), but rather an attempt to revive a legend, gone wrong:

MAT Stratos at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. I'd rather have the original, thank you very much...

I would love a revival of the stratos, but the they need to get rid of that awful new front end. It looks like the early 2000s. The rest of the car is a gorgeous reinvisioning of the stratos imho. Just change the front end. Anything thats not a Ypsilon is welcomed.

Lancia is not directly involved in this, as a result the car won't wear the Lancia badge. And, yes, frontend looks sad, but the rest is kinda lumpy as well.

Somehow Pininfarina messed up the original (Bertone) proportions big time. Big wheels don't work that well with such a short wheelbase.

The Mercedes Benz CL. My god....

    Pretty standard for an Merc.

Now... what the hell? The car barely resembles the original, and that face looks like an generic CLK/E-Class. Plus, it seems to be like it's melting.

F-! I can't believe how much this doesn't work at all, front looks bland, and hell, even boring (it's bored itself), and also that it looks like an 2 door sedan now.

The 3rd picture shown here was the last of the CL Coupe, and it shows. It went out in the wrong direction, and then was damned ever since.

I legitimately think that the MAT Stratos looks quite nice. I like how it keeps the retro feel of the old Lancia Stratos.

What I don't like about it is that according to what I've seen, you have to get a Ferrari F430 donor car. Like why?

I'm assuming by it requiring a F430 donor car, you need a frame for the MAT Stratos to sit on. If I'm correct, are they that lazy to not build the car its own frame?

It wasn't the best design, but atleast it was so/so.

On the other side, nowadays, it looks like it took the drugs of an 2016 Prius. Undesirably bad.

That made me giggle. I think it look like it's screaming. Don't see that much of a difference in the two designs.

I think styling like that belongs on performance cars designed for speed, unless the Yaris is actually a sleeper or something, but I highly doubt Toyota would make it like that.

Well, apparently the new one became one..... but makes as much sense as an GT3 Prius.

Still looks horrific compared to the 2015 model.

Are you describing the old Camries in the past in the first line? Because that's what comes up to my mind.
Also, being round isn't an bad thing, just more of an common visual in cars. I do agree that Camries didn't need aggressive styling, but Toyota did it anyways.

Well at least there that "screaming" appearance makes a bit more sense. To me anyway.

It looks like an riced Yaris, which I would prefer less than an race Gremlin. The Yaris wasn't even made for performance, and it's not an TRD vehicle. Atleast with the TRD Trucks/SUVs, I could see why they were made with mad styling.

Coachbuilt vehicle. They are usually built on the base of mass-produced "donor" cars.
