Here is a new map that I am currently working on for 2018, "Biloxi Dragway" this is set in Biloxi, MS in 1967. This was a popular racing place at one time. Built to scale of satellite images, input from racers, and other archival photos this will also feature a few surrounding miles of the Mississippi Gulf Coast to drive around day and night driving. When all features are added, aiming to have a photo realistic version. I do live videos from time to time if your interested where this project ends. More photos and videos are here: https://www.facebook.com/biloxidragway/
will you be making it a prepped surface, like the one on WCUSA, or is it going to be no prep? Actually, now that i think about it, you could possibly do both if you felt like it. This is gonna be awesome, i can already tell.
Yes this will likely have both grip surfaces on the drag strip. It will be based to be done in the way the West Coast Drag Strip grip settings was done, overlay the other graphics like the rubber markings, and also have the line markings that can be viewed in Biloxi Dragway photos. I also can change the textures as I go along to get it more accurate. Before I place anymore objects or create them I'm currently correcting the terrain height. Thanks! https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1688161281264772
We need this drag strip. Make sure it actually grips and doesn't act like normal gird map concrete, something like the west coast drag strip
Just going to say,I don't think anyone will watch an hour-long video of you driving the Bel Air. On topic, the map looks good so far.
