It's also quite a bit taller than the Crown Vic, even though the Vic is slightly taller than the Ka (56.8 inches vs. 53.9 inches). That's not even accounting for the lightbar on the cop Vic, which would raise its height even more. Overall, that picture is full of inaccuracies.
I'm not surprised. Lazy CGI + animators who don't give half a shit about cars = loads of innacuracies.
"This whole scene is CGI so we could put literally any car we want there, but we have this crappy, not-to-scale Ford Ka model sitting on a hard drive somewhere already, so we may as well use it."
It's California, where a bunch of rich and weird people live, so their choice was practically unlimited. Why would they have a ka model on their hard drive? Why would anyone have a ka model on their hard drive?
In the movie, Smokey and the bandit there is a scene where a officer is taking a "Number One" As said in the movie, the first scene the officers car is a Plymouth Fury, but when he begins to chase the bandit he is driving a Pontiac Lemans. Not cars pictured exactly from scene but the same models.
Sorry For The Bump, Anyways There's A Mistake That I Spotted In The Older Vacation Movie. The Vista Crusier Had Oldsmobile Hubcaps Before It Got Crushed, But When It Did, It Had Pontiac Rallye Mag Wheels.
Yeah, but this is a thread where a bump doesn't hurt much. Besides, I want to see more car mistakes. Maybe I'll even spot one someday.
In Cars 3, you can see an error on Guido's postion Before, Guido was in front of Red After one part of the scene, you can see Guido in front of the Ford Model T car
Well, this isn’t a movie, but I watched an episode of TRAP (the bait car show) and I noticed the bait car was a 2000s Accord and then the overhead shot of the car it was like a Toyota Matrix or something.
This is more of an physical error. In San Andreas, the Subaru Forester moves unrealistically when it's impacted by the landslide. What I mean is that it's motion is too fast to be considered to be realistic, unlike other scenes with any other car being destroyed. Plus, it seems to be more intact than it should've been.
Alright, so I watched Wonder recently I noticed in one scene, a bunch of kids were riding in an old International school bus. In the next scene, it switched to a Freightliner/Thomas.
There's also an 2001 Clio. I think that it might not be exactly in the 70s. OT: Alike to Godzilla (2014), there's an car that shouldn't be here. Not only is it an Czech (communist when this was made) bus, it doesn't even look like it shares the San Francisco school bus livery.
In 'Baby Driver' (though not exactly a mistake) every time you see a stunt, the car is a manual, but when you see 'Baby' actually driving, it's an automatic because the actor Ansel Elgort can't drive manual.
You sure? An Impreza can easily jack up it's wheel in an corner, how does that translate to an Forester falling down an cliff? Yeah, it'd be worse than how the movie depicted it would be.
