GOD NO! The programs we use are: Blender - for modeling and uv unwrapping GIMP - for texturing and a text editor like notepad ++ for programing. Inertia does the programing so im not sure what program he uses
Is that the 3d builder thing? If so that program is very primitive in what you can do with it. All 3 programs i mentioned are free and very flexible. Blender is especialy powerfull in terms of its capabilities.
All good. Have you dont any 3d modeling before? If not blender can take a while to get the hang of. Watch lots of tutorials
Never 3D modeled in my life. Gotta get my own PC because all i got is my school chromebook (which is ass if you ask me) but until then I will watch them tutorials
Yeah you wont be abled to do jack sh*t on a chrome book. But a decent laptop should be fine. If you plan on making mods one day it would probably help if your laptop/pc can actually run beamng
Okay so I know a PC that can because I ran it one time with an Acer plus 3 or 4 mods. How much space would I need for the mod maker & the game ?
Il have to check its not so much the space thats the issue. Its weather your CPU and GPU can actually run it. Not all PCs are the same you know
A nascar styled sunburst would be really cool, there is a mod out there that makes it go 200mph named nascar sunburst or something like that
this of this guys look at how much progress matty has made in the time frame as is it looks fantastic and many of you if not most of you would want him to release it as is. but i appreciate him not releasing it if hes still working on it. it means he can take his time work out the bugs make it better to many devs and mod makers release stuff in beta and then people expect to much they expect a update every week and if its a small update i see it all the time they get mad at the mod maker/dev and if that does not convince you, he is one of if not the best mod maker i have ever seen matty's is involved a lot. like 61 pages and on every one of them he replied to at least 3 people and if not more so take your time it will be better for everyone the people rushing you just want to grow there car collection and the people waiting actually want this car for what it is and what to enjoy it personally i think this is one of the best mods not just for the mod its self but for the fact that i have never seen a community come together on a mod as i have with this --- Post updated --- i know i said car guys i know i mean truck

they actually had a truck made for him, but Dale didn't like the trucks, so they got someone else to drive the 3 truck
And now garret from 1320 owns it or a replica made to be barely street legal. I'd love to see one of those, too!
Mod will be done when it is finished. No nagging please. We both have busy lives, and we do this as a hobby and for free.
