I mean, it's not horrible, but we're a new community and members are already gone. People like trykkestar, zxbobxz, and gearsecond. Some still lurk a but, but others (like gearsecond) haven't logged in since 11-11-2012. We've been on this forum for almost 2 years. It makes me kinda sad to see them go. Anyone else, or am I weird?
Yea me too, even though gearsecond was gone way before I came around. I don't get how you could just completely leave this place though. He seemed like a pretty active member of the community. Seems like he would at least come back now and then and check. He has to have seen the game somewhere.
Maybe they've lost their password and have no way of accessing it? They could have a new account for all we know. Like I cant play my SimCity game as I lost the password to my account & It was connected to my old email, So I cant access it.
It makes me a bit sad that some great content creators have left or are no longer interested in the game.
I can tell this will be me in some time. It could be 2 months, or it could be 4 years. But it always happens. Either that or I get banned (usually from a final stroke of immaturity.) ~_~

Trust me. It will eventually happen, if this is like every other forum I have been on, it will happen. Maybe this one will be different, because you are all just that awesome. It is also because the whole group I know actually sticks up for one another, and when we don't, well, it's for good reason. Also, I think that I already had a wave of immaturity go by, but I think now I am aware of when it happens, before it gets bad and actions are taken.
I understand. Honestly, I'm surprised I'm still here. Beamng is one of those games that doesn't get boring. I haven't been bored since I found ROR in 2012.
Yeah, I wonder whatever happened to people. I remember Minderaser posted all the time back in the day, but he dropped off the forums before the launch of Drive it seems.
Yeah, I definitely miss the old forums. Those were some good times. I remember when I joined there were only ~500 active members according to the stats and the bottom of the forums page. - - - Updated - - - btw you joined on my birthday
people come and go, this is just a game and shit happens, interests change, life happens etc I used to wonder the same thing but it is what it is, shit i faded away from game modding for over 5 years because i just did other shit, off computers. This forum is kind of weird tho, its like a "new" generation of users, quick to call you out, lots of crying, acting like $15 is a lot of money and then acting like nobody has any pirated software on their pc's ...laughable.... haha maybe its just a few members but it definitely changes the light IMO and i'm not the only one who feels like that. That alone would make some people leave IMO
I left some time ago since I really had no interest in posting. Honestly for me, I only lurk the showrooms area now, and see the new updates as they roll along. I don't entirely enjoy the entire part of the forum, it's just not me. It's similar to how I only lurk Offtopic in the Rigs of Rods forums. I don't post often, but I'm still active, and play the game whenever I want to escape and just drive.
There have been SOO many people to join since the game launched. I think, when I joined, there were 700 something active members, and 7,000 or so members total. Now there are like 40,000 accounts. <3
Some have their reasons. Don't miss them, they left for a reason. But you wont have to worry about me, cause I'm staying until the..... @ end.
It's not like I miss them because I miss the personality, it's just when you look and someone hasn't been on in awhile, there's just this.....feeling. I don't know.
I know what you mean, if you knew them well then of course you'll have this....feeling. Some of my friends left that were here and now I only talk to them shit......here and there. So yea.
None of my friends like this stuff, and if I mentioned it, I get made fun of. So I'm kinda alone here. I did find one guy at school that I kinda know that recognized the forums and asked me about it. He is the only person I know in real life that even knows this game existst. Atleast to this day......the search continues. His name is baconbits. He is on my friends list if you want to look. He hasn't been on since December. lol
Yea I usually tell adults about this product, some driving school eds have taken some close look into this sim and some other people here and their, I have made SO many buy this game, and they end up LOVING this sim/game/product. Best thing they've found "EVER"!
Loser. Dang, you guys make me feel old. When I joined it was closer to 50 active and like 200 members. I can honestly say I am one of no more than 5 people that joined in the year before or earlier (August 2012 or before) that still post outside of showrooms and other rare posts. I can't say I see much of the THC guy anymore (why can I not remember his name?(EDIT: It's hati. Durr)) I remember minderaser though, he was pretty cool. I remember trykestar getting some hate for his 7post/day stat.
