No one has heard from the devs recently, no screens, no videos, no hints about what's going on... Are the devs taking a break, working silently?

Even forum activity is down quite a bit. Usually after i get home every afternoon, there are always at least five threads updated, usually more. Now, i haven't seen more than 2 threads updated when i get home for a few days now, and those two threads are usually asking why there has been such a sudden decrease in activity. There hasn't been a blog entry in a few weeks(which isn't really that abnormal). I don't know what's going on. Gabester said that real life things have been getting in the way of dovelopement for the past few weeks, so maybe something happened to someone. I hope nothing really bad happened to anyone.

Dude... Seriously? Look one topic down and there's another one with 3 pages where the exact same thing is asked?! Stop trying to boost your postcount.

The fact that nothing has been posted for a few days doesn't mean anything. Other game companies don't post anything for half a year and then release 2 screenshots and then go silent for another half a year.

First: I'm not trying boosting my postcount.
Second: The fact that nothing has been posted for a few days does mean something to me.
Third: We're talking about BeamNG, not other companies.

You're getting pretty annoying correcting and arguing with people because of repeated threads.

If I may, its pretty annoying when people repeat these threads in the first place. This thread is redundant because we already have one. Anyway, if constant developer updates mean that much to you, may I suggest you find a hobby or something? This whole wait would go a lot more smoothly if everyone would just stop pressing on the matter. Just be patient, I'm sure that all of you can find something better to do than continue to dramatize the waiting period.

Yeah, I know it's annoying, nut seriously, he thinks he's a thread cop. But he's not. And I'm pretty sure you think it's annoying too.

I'd honestly approve if he was a forum administrator. He seems like a sound bloke. More to the point, he's right.

I do not think I'm a thread cop, thank you very much. I'm just trying to keep the 12 year olds away from BeamNG for as long as possible so the forum doesn't go to ruins like it did in RoR.

Also, thank you Hati, you seem like a very nice dude yourself :)

    i agree with mythbuster.
it is annoying, altough i made the mistake like 1 time.
but that was my 1rst thread ever.
    so, people stop repeating threads.
it only sets pressure on the dev's and we dont want that.
because we don't want this to end up like gta4.
finished too fast, too many bugs and crashes like hell.

    so just be patient.

    gr, siebe :)

... gta4 was like that because rockstar didnt port it to pc properly.

beamng is going to be coded FOR the pc itself, and not ported to pc, so the code will all already be pc compatible :/ (correct me if im wrong beamng devs)

i know its poorly optimized, but still.
it has a lot of bugs on my xbox too.

i dont know about my ps3 cuz i dont have it for the ps3 ( like im gonna buy it 3 times XD)
and i compared my pc version to my xbox version.
i gotta say that the xbox has less bugs (still alot)
but you have more freedom on pc (like mods)
i just hope beamng won't have a lot of bugs.

well sure GTA IV is not well optimized, but you don't need a super powerful computer to run GTA IV at the settings the PS3 does. Poor resolution, 30 fps, low-med settings, etc.
