There are quite a few different types of independent suspension, such as Double Wishbone, MacPherson Struts, and Multilink. However, the game does not specify which type each car is using, and simply labels them all as "Independent Front Suspension" and "Independent Rear Suspension." So, here's my attempt to determine the specific suspension types used by each vehicle: Bruckell LeGran: Macpherson Struts front, Beam axle rear (coil springs) Bruckell Moonhawk: Double wishbone front, Live axle rear (coil springs) Burnside Special: Double wishbone front, live axle rear (leaf springs) Civetta Bolide: Double wishbone front, double wishbone rear ETK 800: Macpherson strut front, multilink rear ETK I-Series: Macpherson strut front, trailing arm rear ETK K-Series: Macpherson strut front, multilink rear Gavril Barstow: Double wishbone front, live axle rear (leaf springs or 4-link) Gavril D-Series: Double wishbone front, live axle rear (leaf springs) Gavril Grand Marshal: Double wishbone front, live axle rear (coil springs) Gavril H-Series: Double wishbone front, live axle rear (coil springs) Gavril Roamer: Double wishbone front, live axle rear (leaf springs) Gavril T-Series: Beam axle front, live axle rear (leaf springs) Hirochi SBR4: Double wishbone front, pushrod rear Hirochi Sunburst: Macpherson strut front, Multilink/Macpherson hybrid rear Ibishu 200BX: Macpherson strut front, Multilink/Macpherson hybrid rear Ibishu Covet: Double wishbone front, Trailing arm rear Ibishu Hopper: Live axle front (5 link), live axle rear (coil springs) Ibishu Miramar: Double wishbone front, live axle rear (leaf springs) Ibishu Pessima (1988): Macpherson strut front, Multilink/Macpherson/semi trailing arm hybrid rear (optional rear steering) Ibishu Pessima (1996): Macpherson strut front, Multilink/Macpherson hybrid rear Ibishu Pigeon: MacPherson strut front, live axle rear (leaf springs) Wentward DT40L: Beam axle front, live axle rear (4-link) w/ air suspension These are all my best guess, and there is no guarantee that I'm correct. In that case, I'd appreciate feedback, and I'll update this list as I learn more.
It's pretty easy to tell what the cars use when looking at them. Bolide has double wishbone F&R 200BX has a MacPherson front and Multi-link rear. ect.
I was originally going to compile a list, but I thought I'd end up making too many mistakes. If all of the parts have been modeled, there should be a list somewhere of what type.
If you feel like your going to make mistakes I (and many others) could help you. Did you plan on putting in on the Wiki?
I had a go at trying to identify them (in the original post), if you have a chance, please let me know if there's anything I need to change.
Front should be double wishbone. The Sunbust's rear suspension has characteristics of both MacPheason strut and a multilink. Same (but debatable) with the 200BX now that I looked at it twice. Hopper has a Live Axle 5-Link front and rear with coil springs. This one is kinda a cross between a Multilink, MacPherson, and a semi traling arm. I would add "optional steering" for the rear. This one is also a cross between a multilink and MacPherson. For the front I would call it MacPherson as it does have a single wishbone. And for the rear I would add it has leaf springs. Rear suspension is a live axle 4-link. And obviously air suspension. For the cars and trucks that use an axle suspension type you should add if it uses leaf springs or coil spring as both are common. Those are all the changes I would make
