Thanks button missing?

Hey guys, I've just been reading some posts and there are plenty of them that I want to say thanks to. But the button is gone!

That happens when you thank alot.

 

I literally just thanked a post and now it's gone! Don't leave me thanks button, come back!

 

How long is the button gone for?

 

Did it just go away for you? I have no idea, it left just a few minutes ago for me.

Hooray!!! The button is back, so it was gone for about 24 hours... Thanks all, if this ever happens to you just wait for 24 hours then try again.

 

It's like a spam block thing I'm pretty sure. I think you have like a limit to how many posts you can thank every day or so. AS long as you don't go crazy on posts, I think you're fine. My is gone right now.

 

Mine hasn't been around for months.. I don't know, maybe I thanked the wrong posts.

 

mine only seems to disappear when i go on a Thanking spree, and for how long is different every time

 

Miraculous, now it's back! Maybe my prayer to the gods of beams beared fruit after all. I bet it's gone again after this post.

E: Come to think of it, the button was probably nonexistant because I hadn't really contributed to the forums at all during this time.. so lurkers aren't allowed to vote. I better start spammin'.

 

I doubt it, it's most likely that when you spam loads of thanks over a period of time, it temporarily prevents you from thanking posts. Like what happened to logoster.

 

It's not gone for me. I just was wondering in case it does disappear.

 

Mine goes away all the time. I do thank a lot of posts though. I find it's better than wasting space by replying with a useless message.

 

Well, the weird thing is that I recall using the button once or twice and never saw it for months after that. Whatever though.
