It doesn't change the deformation much (extreme angles only), but it's a good idea to keep it all in quads and let the game/exporter triangulate the model

Due to closing deadlne(may, probably middle of may) this project has literally become a 10:30am to 10pm job/work for last week or two and i think i am now done whit the moddeling and ready for jbeaming and export to Beamng, but the problem is that whit documentation i have to do(20 pages of technical problems and explanation why i chose this project and how i plan to defend it) i doubt i can get the jbeaming and exporting/importing to Beamng done... If you'd like to help me whit the project(like simple jbeam and import to beamng) just pm me(i know things like these don't become free but i'd be able to give small monetary compensation for your work, but not much since i am jobless trade school(12 years of education) student(one who has gone overtime whit official studying schedule of 3.5 years(5 years now) due to problems whit bullying perfectionist teachers(those ones that don't give you any grade for doing a small mistake that won't affect the end result, eg in microsoft server class) and mental health problems(heavy depression and something else) but i am now(for last 5 months) getting medicinical help for my problem(s) so no need to worry about me(my health), i have gone trough the lowest point(clinical depression and not much will to live) of my life and everything(aside not finishing school?) can go only uphill for me now! Mostly thanks to the medicine i am on and will be for rest of my life!))!

So uh something weird happened.... I were working on jbeam(that i got) import to beamng and instead of the normally invisible jbeam(that you have to turn on whit ctrl+n & ctrl+b i got visible jbeam/model? WTH?

I am so confused, since whatever this is i cant turn its visibility off, like permanent jbeam?

EDIT: Whatever this permanent jbeam visulation thingy is, it collapses so it needs more triangulation, which ill fix later once i have gotten over the shock of this thing...

    https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/8...c4f2f556fcf50259ec0ecaf91f30db97248/detection

Also i were offline for few days since my hdd was dying and it took me few days to clone it(well cloning it took like 3-4 hours, but getting it running due to lack of skill and knowledge about boot partitions(inacessible boot partition error) and me thinking the cloning went wrong it got turned to 2 day process of sitting in front of clonezilla... Finally got it running trough some indian youtuber commands(3 commands, and only 2 worked, last one got access denied and i had no way/knowledge to bypass it) trough some miracle...

Your all good, it will dispensary when you add flexbodies so the mesh shows on it :) when i was experimenting It was like that for me too, It goes away when you get the vehicle model to show up on your jbeam it does not affect anything, its a feature to help you I think

Also if you use the jbeam exporter just add faces and apply the triangulate modifier before exporting, because it will hold up better and not collapse

I don't actually know, that might just be because the jbeam is not finished.

so the original kept collapsing despite being triangulated, so i decided to convert my model chassis to the jbeam file to see if my model would also collapse, end result is whenever i try to spawn it in it crashes, probably due to sheer number of lines(23967)? Jbeam file size is 566kb.

Whoa, jbeam should not be that complicated, take a look at the official vehicles for reference. ;) There really only needs to be around 40 or less nodes I think

is this car a sort of NSU prinz 1000 style where you pick a low-end car and you slap on a bigger engine and a more refined interior?

I'm still kinda not sure what you mean, but I don't think so.

Have you taken a look at the jbeam of the official cars? That's what it should be similar to.

As a factory option? Or like aftermarket modification? From what i found these cars only came whit 2(well 3?) engines, a 50hp v4 and a 40hp v4(same block? But other parts were designed to run on different fuels? 76 vs 93 octane fuels.)

But in future i am planning to do a 90's ricey i4 engine and a i5 engine(like volvo 850 or something similar, if i can fit a engine like that in there(transverse way) which i doubt, but then i can always stick the engine out of the rear body panel bit for some vw baja look :D), of course ill do like upgraded engines of the original engines the car came whit by like asking local zaz club members for what they have done whit their original zaz engines(from what it seems mostly new italian carburators)!

I think if you use the blender jbeam exporter, and your model already has faces end export it that way, then faces are automatically added.
Otherwise read about it here. https://wiki.beamng.com/Collision_Triangles

    So, huh, worst Jbeam ever?

Virustotal says file is clean like Malwarebytes and other AV in my computer, so it should be safe to download :)

So is there a difference for beamng if my model in Blender is offset from the 0;0;0 cordinates?

Yes, model will "float" around the jbeam.
