It's not gonna be free. It's gonna release like Minecraft did. It costs less money the earlier it is in the development stage. As updates come and the game is closer to release date the price will rise so buy it early on.

The demo's gonna be free like all other demos of games, but as a demo it's not gonna have everything in it, it's just a demo. Use the demo to check if your computer can even handle it.

This is just what Gabe's said in other topics earlier.

They never confirmed any of that. The game won't be free. Why would it be free? This is a full time job for these guys. We don't know if there will be a tech demo, or if it will be free. We don't know if the price will rise, and we don't know if we will even get regular updates. We are not even sure if we will even get a demo(We probobly will though). The text you see in the blue box above this has not been confirmed and is pure speculation, but is based on stuff that Gabester has said, but he is not sure it will happen. It would really help you if you read through all of the blog posts and forums, just to figure out what is going on.

Indeed, As long as we get a free demo to insure that the game will run perfectly i will happily pay a fee for the game.

All of the admins are online and all are viewing a thread called "" (except for Gabester)... Sorry to post this in two places but one can only assume what's about to happen (or something related)!! I'm also assuming that "" means that they're creating a thread.

actually, the tech demo has been confirmed, and theres no point in realeasing a tech demo, if you have to pay to see if your computer can run it, as the point of a tech demo is to see if your computer can run it without buying the actual game

Oh yeah that sounds like we're close to get something playable, maybe it is all the ''work behind the scenes'' tdev said not long ago.

It could really help if you read through his post instead.

Lawrs91 only said that the demo will be free, which is pretty obvious because otherwise I wouldn't call it a demo. He also said that it will be released as the minecraft-model, which means that it will cost more the more it's developed.

Gabester have said that there will most likely be a demo, and that they want to release the game as a minecraft-model. So nothing is written in stone, but this is the information we've got.

I don't think so. What would be the criteria to allow people to enter the beta? What about the rest?

Well actually it's already in the closed beta as far as I know, so the next step is probably an open beta.

I'm pretty sure it isn't. What evidence do you have towards that claim?

A closed alpha/beta means that a select few of people get to participate, as far as we know only the devs have access to this engine/game/vehicle thingy. ;)

Pretty sure they aren't in Closed Alpha/Beta just yet...
