Some websites like Amazon have a check to see if the person who left the review actually downloaded the mod or not. I think a system like that here at BeamNG would be beneficial. Something as simple as a check at the end of a review, that way, people who see the reviews can know that the person who reviewed actually downloaded. Now, this doesn't mean I am saying you shouldn't be allowed to review before downloading. I created a picture to demonstrate what I was thinking. This is NOT something from the website, it is a screenshot that was edited in PDN. Any review with a check means they downloaded it. Information was blurred to save people from getting their panties in a wad.
We had something that required you to download the mod before being able to leave a review. Although this sometimes did not worked and did not allow legit user to review, so we disabled it.
It's not a priority, as it does not seem a problem ( If something is wrong with a review, just report it and we will check )
