BC Racing tonight was absolutely brutal. Every time I caught up to the leader he started lagging and suddenly I was sideways. Ugh. Also... it appears the Nexus RS is the OP car of this game. It maxes out way above other cars for some reason. Edit - I think the Nexuses that I see online are hacked or something. A310? Are there even cars that go that high in this? I spent an hour grinding cash only to find that the Nexus maxes at like mid 200s.
All good here, no hacks. Zero defense and full outfit. Fast little shit. Haven't seen anything higher than this so far.
I have come across a noob/troll who was driving slowly on purpose and blaming everyone for taking him out on a clean racing server. The next race i was winning and he spun me out before wrecking me on a barrier.
It dies quick..lol. I wouldn't race it unless I felt REAL confident. Incidentally and after thinking about it I do believe I have seen A320's sitting in the lobby a couple times. Can't remember who,what or where but that's now a mission to find out. I can't get a car that high using the tools at hand and would have to assume something nefarious is going on. Paying attention to lobby chat sometimes gives clues to things, like the time someone mentioned they got obliterated by someone who"s health bar was 100% depleted. The suspected cheater came back with a really lame response of something like "yeah, I just got tagged like 4 times right before I hit you" lulz....
Today might've been the worst racing day I've had ever. DNF'd every race. Wrecked twice and got stuck three times. Bugbear... having a reverse track means you have to adjust the barriers too. Ugh. In the end I just chased after the guy who'd been ramming everybody else and killed him then killed my own Rammer.
Had days like that. Days where I couldn't get my act together at all...lol. Reverse tracks that haven't rotated in awhile always blindside me and it takes a couple laps to get my head around it. Being a clean racer has it's advantages too, like if I feel the need to chase down and punish some jerk who is causing problems. They usually don't expect it and if it turns into a races long grudge match where neither of us do anything but kill each other I'm fine with that. If I can't do what I want in the game neither can they.....and in Wreckfest it all looks and feels so damn good.
Why on Earth won't Bugbear add a dang minimap for this game. Or at least some big chevron signs. Sandpit 2 is awful for blind, off-camber turns. Today me and everybody else on the server missed the first turn on Sandpit 2 alt reverse. I ended up literally missing that turn the second time around and knocked the other guy off the turn, and rolled him over and up the cliff.
A mini map is a great idea. Something to indicate the track layout BEFORE the race starts, even if you only get a few seconds to look at it before launching. As it stands now I automatically assume (and usually happens), that everyone will pile up in the first turn regardless of the track layout. A certain percentage do it to ruin races while most others just ride the wave of carnage into the guardrail...lmao. I just make a beeline for the inside of the turn and lean a bit on others to shoot me out of the turn. Most times I'm in the top ten or better coming out of the turn. If I do get caught up in the maelstrom I just take it easy and try to get back on track ASAP, then play catch up, very fun. Speaking of hills, last week I was in a race on one of the fig8 sandpit reverse tracks in first place (I think), with Mopower on my trunklid when I got absolutely obliterated by Mr.Sledgehammer at the X. I literally jumped in my chair as my car flew twisting through a grove of trees and up a "mountainside" that can't even be seen from the track. The most epic hit I've experienced yet. I swear I had a moment of "virtual blackout" at impact. Amazingly I was able to find the track without getting stuck and finish the race. My Roadcutter hobbled and bobbled across the line looking like it had gone through a garbage disposal. Pretty sure Mopower had an awesome seat for that little event. On that note I can't wait for the next update!
I'd love to sit back and watch that. You ain't no slouch brother. Perhaps down the road, as the MP gets better a group of us BeamNG'ers could form a team...a hunter-killer team..lol.
I am a VERY good driver on Wreckfest so I usually use either the MudDigger, Sunrise Super, or the CRX. my favorite vehicle is the MudDigger cause NO one expects such a huge hunk of metal to be THAT fast. then again, I do drive like a maniac in that thing.
Same Since I just got wreckfest about a month ago I am still not that good at it yet. ( I usually end up going too tight on a turn and flying off the map). I am slowly getting better now though and yesterday I almost got a 1st place but I hit a dead car and.....yeah.
Tonight, the only crashing I've had is the game itself every time I try to load multiplayer. Gr8 game Bugbear Muddigger with long or short gears? ---- The Rammer's titular ability.
