Here's what my "jbeam" currently looks like. It's a learning process.

Ouch. Maybe try using the Sunburst as a base.

Might not look like it, but everything is just about set proper. I'm holding up the body, and the stretchy bit is a bumper that's got its groups set wrong.

That pic is mostly for fun. It looks way worse than it actually is because I just added part slots without actually giving them proper nodes. I have done most of the body:

It still needs more rigidity, and the doors + bottom need to be redone, but it's coming along, and it's all original!
I switched over from the Sunburst jbeam a while back for various reasons, particularly because in order to make the suspension right, I need to actually learn it instead of copying.

Keep up the good work, it looks nice. I know what all those nodes and beams mean :)

I do really want to do the wagon, but not until after the sedan is released. I think I will try to cut the model in half so that I could just make different rear ends, but I don't know if that'd cause them to look weird when they deform from a crash.

I was thinking to cut on the green line, but IRL they cut on the red one:

Me too. If I can get the suspension + drivetrain, it's basically done, but I also start my job next week. :X
Thanks for the offer. I'll be sure to hit you up once it's ready to go.

Going to try Automation exporter to make suspension, engine, and drivetrain.

Glad to see there is progress on this again and good to see modders not giving up. Back on topic, will there be a 2JZ made for this?
