I know juvenile alcohol use is popular in Poland, but just don't write right after it.
    Why price it high?

Because costs need to be recouped, and the Chiron is just a halo car.
It's not like VW's other cars desperately need better quality, they're show-stealers in many comparos.

This time I wasn't drinking... Any time I compliment a VW might be just because of me being drunk.

Good luck on your profits then with that price. Also, show-stealers? *laughs sarcastically*

This is definitely one example of one VW vehicle that never stole the show.

Back in the early 00s, it was all the rage.

I was there to see the end of the trend, and my friend's mom had one.

Nowadays, it's just an ignored reboot of an "classic".

I've seen better from Bugatti.... from the old days. But the Veyron looks like an classic compared to this!

We liked it in Europe. But, here, the PT Cruiser is also the only Chrysler people didn't laugh at.

Still it was reasonably successful, and 3 stars isn't "the most bad" by any means.

    Seriously?
5 star ≠ always safe in all variants of accidents, from small to big vehicles
It doesn't mean it's bad, but depending on 5-star vehicles doesn't mean it has the best quality, nor does that mean perfect safety, as bigger vehicles can do worse than an medium-smaller vehicle.

Well, like I said in my edit, that doesn't always equal the best quality. Also, I don't live in France, so we have IIHS instead.
(IIHS is better than NCAP in my opinion, though that could be subjective.)

EuroNCAP ratings ceased being significant when they introduced the latest, absurd scoring system.

The moment they started equating strong occupant protection to seatbelt reminders, I stopped caring. NHTSA and IIHS should be the references for testing, EuroNCAP instead is known to accept financing from manufacturers...

I'm so lucky I live in where the IIHS is in. It's way much better than EuroNCAP.

To be fair, seatbelts can't help you if you aren't wearing them.

Also, the stars are made for comparing similar-sized cars (e. g. a 5*subcompact is safer than a 4*, but less safe than a 4* big SUV)

I wish they cut out the size classes and scored all cars according to the same rules.
