think its a good idea to use the covet as a base, then edit the jbeam to it? cause i only made the miCrovet so far

 

Yeah, cover is a good base, just don't be like the Russians and leave everything named CovetDoor or CovetHood

im working on it, reusing some of the jbeams. and modding the rest. but i dont know how to fix the color, i want it to be selectable

I have to say, the jbeam really needs updated, but for being unedited it really works well in 2018

 

well. i modified the Covet jbeam, and i made some changes to the golf body, so it has a real engine bay. i sooped in a covet engine and all the tuning parts (more body mods)

Anyone knows how to work with textures, and if yes can you help me. i suck at it. so any help would be nice

Okay, i made some progress on the golf, i dropped in the covet engine and front suspention, moved the engine a bit to the front, and use the covet jbeam for it, gonna test it now after renaming flexbody files in the jbeams

Now its paintable, i fixed it, haha, the texture is working now!
