    Here we go...again, I'm bored.
Ill go with my local bus companies, ill only put the buses they run, not the entire fleet.
    Thamesdown Transport (Swindon's Bus Company)

    Buses:
Plaxton Pointer Dennis Dart (more than one)

    Dennis Enviro 200s

    Scania/Volvo Wright Pulsar

    Dennis Trident

DF Wrongbus Streetshite (Wrightbus Streetlite) (7 of them to be exact)

I am basing this list off of the buses I have seen, so don't judge me about incorrectness.
    Stagecoach

    Buses:
    Plaxton Pointer Dennis Dart

    Dennis Trident

    Dennis Enviro 400

    Dennis Enviro 200

    Optare Solo

    Dennis Trident (No upstairs)

    Again, could be potentially more.
Feel free to not post the buses or the company, because it could point out your location.

We have plenty of these electric buses in my city, that use the power lines above them as a power source (notice the two "arms" at the top of the bus connecting to the lines above it)

You can read about these trolleybuses here, they're quite interesting :)
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trolleybuses_in_Coimbra

The rest of them are mostly old mercedes and MAN vehicles :)

(Transdev is a bus company, not a game developer with a sex change)

Funny thing is, the town I live in's biggest bus company is called Thamesdown and yet the town I live in isn't on the Thames, so Transdev isn't a strange name (according to the way you described it as a game developer with a sex change I would think it means you think its strange.)

This is for Essex area, Colchester Btw, not to fussed about knowing my location tbh.

    Arriva:
Single deckers: Dennis Dart (ok, but aging)
Double Deckers: I think Dennis Trident (never been on one)
    First:
Single deckers: Volvo B7L(s) (Wright Eclipse) (good reliable buses) Wright bus Streetlite(s) (piece of sh*t) and rarely ADL Enviro 200
Double deckers: Volvo B7TLs (double decker B7L) rarely you might see an ADL Enviro 400

Images can be found on Google, just type in the bus model and company (livery)

I have the Lane Transit District, a local public bus company founded in 1970 that runs most (if not all) of the public transport by bus in Lane County. As of 2011-2012, there are about 117 buses operated by this company. All of these are in the Springfield/Eugene area, as those are the most populous cities in my county.

We mostly have normal buses, like these....(I'm not sure what company built them, as there's no info anywhere I can see on), which operate on 35 normal bus routes in the Springfield/Eugene area. 45 of these have been retrofitted to be hybrid/diesel buses, meaning that they one more thing in common with the McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari than most buses do.

Then we have two of these big boys. These are 2015 New Flyer XDE60s, otherwise known as the Emerald Express (EmX for short), and they're basically our land trains. They were first used in 2007, and they're meant to be "rapid bus transit" units. The only problem is...these things are taking up a lot of our roads due to all of the special lanes that they use, which highly annoys a lot of people in my area.

    So fancy.
Downhere in the deep third world we have non of that fancy nonsense.
All busses are operated by different people, and go from buses from the 80's, up to today.

I don't know the chassis being used, so most of these are only the body names.
This should be most of the buses around here. Might be missing a few.

    Arriva
    Enviro200
    Enviro400
    Enviro200 MMC
    Enviro400 MMC
    ALX200
    ALX400
East Lancs Lowlander/Lolyne/Vyking (It's one of these. Haven't seen it for a while...)
East Lancs Myllennium Lowlander/Myllennium Lolyne/Myllennium Vyking (I know at least one is a Lowlander and it's in the old style livery with its badging)
Mercedes-Benz Citaro (Apparently these were the ones used for the 2012 Olympics shuttle buses)
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter City (One or two of these, I think)
Plaxton Mini Pointer Dart (Occasionally Maybe ~3 of these here?)
Optare Solo SR (I think I've seen these about...)
    Optare Versa
    Wright StreetLite DF
    Wright Commander/Cadet (*)
    Wright Pulsar/Eclipse (*)
    Wright Pulsar 2/Eclipse 2 (*)
    Wright Pulsar Gemini/Eclipse Gemini (*)
    Wright Pulsar Gemini 2/Eclipse Gemini 2 (*)

*They look so similar I don't know what ones they are.

    Nu-Venture
ALX400 (With double doors. ~2 of these)
Marshall Capital (Haven't seen this one for a long time...)
    MCV eVolution (~2 of these)
    Plaxton Mini Pointer Dart
Plaxton Pointer 2 (One or two of the Pointers have flip-dot displays)
Caetano Nimbus (I rarely see these)

    Stagecoach
ALX400 (I know at least one has flip-dot displays)
    Enviro400
    Enviro400 MMC
Plaxton Pointer 2 (Not very often. I think one has flip-dot displays)

    Farleigh Coaches
    Optare Solo

    Unknown
Plaxton President (With double doors. Only seen twice.)

    Other
Iveco Eurorider with Marshall Euro body (First aid bus)

I love the Plaxton Pointers (mainly the original and SLF ones) and older buses, but they are disappearing. :(

    EDIT 3rd of May 2018:
    Updated list.
Seems Arriva has a few Mini Pointer Darts appearing here. I hope they stay for a long time and that they run often on the routes I use.

All buses here are operated by BC Transit. They're mostly Nova Bus LFS's with a few of the older New Flyer D40LF's still running.

Kelowna, the city I lived in from 2009-2015, was the first city in North America to use double-decker buses in its regular fleet. They were originally Dennis Tridents imported from the UK and converted to left-hand drive, but have since been replaced (in Kelowna anyway) by Alexander Dennis Enviro 500's.

A definite bump to the thread, but I'm still contributing:
Since I've posted this thread there's been one major change in the buses here.
Thamesdown is now owned by Go South East. (Which I'm pretty sure is a GoAhead! company.)
The Darts, ALX400's, and other types of buses are being recycled for newer buses like:
    The Enviro 200MMC

    Repainted Enviro 200's/300's

    Wright Streetlite WF repainted

And the Volvo Pulsar, which I cannot find because it's actual name is very complex and Pulsar is it's short name... and the only thing that comes up when you search "Volvo Pulsar" is pictures of the Volvo Polestar...

First are addicted to Scania L94s here.
Volvo B7 RLE is common, and the double deckers are the B7TL.
Wright Streetlites (streetshites as I call them) awful and rattly. Also slow.
What annoys me is that there is never enough heating on the buses! Why not max out the heating and let people open the windows to their hearts content, solves condensation problems.

Say hello to Sanders Coaches, the most careful and considerate drivers in all the land. Some of the buses feel like their almost dead, in fact I've been on multiple that have broken down. This is why I learned to drive as soon as I turned 17. Sanders Coaches are some of the worst buses I have ever been on.
