Re: BeamNG's Folding@Home Team #224614 Maxwell high end cards are going to still be a while methinks. 750ti was probably just Nvidia putting out a feeler to see how it fares as far as real world use and such. I know for a fact either side has done this in the past to test new fabrication process nodes for reliability. A 280X/7970 will easily pull 150KPPD with a little overclock on the 14.1 drivers. GCN 1.0's lifespan has been pretty damn good considering the arch is 2 or so years old now and still completely relevant with performance still being improved via Mantle/Driver Updates. I had my 7950 up to 145KPPD earlier but I dialed it down a bit for the sake of having my fans silent. At any rate this gpu is definitely staying with me, and probably to be properly partnered with an R9 280 when those release.
