Correct. They were simply badged as Capri, although later non-Europe Mercury Capris did have a small amount of Mercury badging.
Well after seeing the Mustang being sold in Europe and the only thing coming out of their mouths is "it's too big and American for our intelligence" I think we should our brought the Fox Body there with the Capri but than again they would of been saying the same thing back than.
Sorry to make a shockingly large bump to this thread but I think it's needed. Is this mod still being worked on or not? Had a lot of interest and nothing has been said about it for months, many months.... The author who was making this mod was last active just 14 minutes ago, suprises me that he's not updated anyone with plans or anything like that.
One day I might work on it. But I would have to remodel the whole thing, because my modelling quality has improved drastically and frankly, this is a little poor as is.
Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that the model it's self is of low quality compared to what you see these days.
Nowadays, when I think of a car named Stinger, I think of this. If you do go back to this, are there any other name ideas you have in mind?
