Gotta love them figure-8 courses. You can be the best driver out there, it doesn't matter when you've just been slammed into at 50mph. Figure 8 is the great equalizer.
Yeah I am generally happy to finish with a podium on that server. Lots of good racers, and lots of hard racers and dirty racers too. All mashed into a field of 20 cars.
Didn’t know I could do a lawnmower derby with a truck. But now I know lawnmowers are hard to track down in a sea of other dead mowers.
So it looks like I will be laid up on painkillers and steroids for at least two weeks due a blown disk in my back. Unfourtanately that won't mean two weeks of Wreckfest goodness because my "gaming" chair is a bit painful to sit in. I'll see what mixology I can finagle to at lease get a few races in.

Lawnmower VS A 2mn class deathmath is the best credit grind in the game. It is fun as is, but was absolutely hilarious before the lawnmower buff a few patches ago. Once got 42 frags.
Nahhh Best credit grind is full house + speedway death loop + decked out Matador + realistic Everybody is dead by lap 4. You can die after that and the game doesn't really care since you're still in first. lol XP wise though - probably lawnmower genocide
If I had my actual computer right now I'd tell you exactly, but I don't so I have to rely on memory. I believe it paid out well above ~2000 credits, I can't remember if it was more or less than 4k though. Don't take any of this as fact until someone can confirm it though.
The Lawnmower is always good for takedown farming in multiplayer death match demo derbies too. The key there is you have to be really good at catching them.
Been there. Lie on your stomach, ptopped up on your elbows. Your arms will fall asleep but just a few races is worth it sometimes
I wonder if the AI names are random from game to game? And i got one AI name, Purple44, which is a modder since Flatout2..
Ai names are generally your friends 9n steam I think. Pretty dumb cuz people keep posting "multiplayer" videos with a 24 car grid and only 2 of the cars are controlled by live players, but the average viewer doesn't know any better cuz of the names.
Really? I don't have any friends on steam. I think they're just randomly generated from a pool of names.
I'm pretty sure there's just a pool of around 70 names in the game files. I only have 1 friend on steam; her name has never shown up in a race and as far as I can tell every client has the same set of AI names to race against. I believe a couple names (such as Jeremy Clarkson) were consciously entered in the pool by Bugbear. Not sure if the rest are just made to look like gamer tags or actual people's usernames. I would think there would be some problems with ToS/Legal stuffs/etc... if they took the later route.
Jeremy Clarkson is a steam player. He runs the grand tour servers. They are ACTUAL steam player names.

I’m just waiting for wreckfest on the Xbox. My laptop is trash, so no way in a million years it could run it. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s June before console gets released.
