BeamNG full game transferred to school laptop?

Hi, i have recently transferred BeamNG (full game) over to my school computer.

But i cant seem to install/update it correctly because a dll is missing "X3DAudio1_7.dll" is missing.

How can i install DirectX Web Installer without Administrator Access?

1. BeamNG installed on my computer with admin access.
2. Took all BeamNG files from the computer with admin to an USB.
3. Took the USB and plugged it into my school computer.
4. Get all BeamNG files over to the school computer.
5. plug the USB out.
6. Update/install BeamNG..
7. Then the .dll file is missing keeps coming.

Any suggestions on how i can get DirectX without admin?

 

Buy your own computer for school, or just copy the directX folder from your pc to your flashdrive, then paste it in the folder on the pc at school

As stated above, i DO have my own computer xDD

I actually have 4, but that doesnt matter.

I need DirectX Files to rn BeamNG on my School Laptop, but the akward thing is that ive had DirectX running without admin b4 too..

Now im wondering where i could find the DirectX (maybe portable?) for a school computer without admin :3

Has a hard way to do that i dont know if will work on beamng but it can run on other games... copy every directx dll to the game folder. To know which dll you will need just run the game on a pc that doesnt have the directx and see the error messages saying what dll is missing then search download and put inside the game folder. Do it 'till no more error screens appear and you will problably run without directx.

 

What happens if you download .dll and copy it in installation folder of beamng (http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/X/X3DAudio1_7.dll/9.28/download.html)?
If that doesn't work try to login in Windows with Admin account (try with program kon-boot or something similar).

Fixed it for me.

 

In case you hadnt noticed, this entire thread is trying to work around the lack of admin rights on a school device, your link requires admin....

 

why don't you just put beamng on an external hard dive and take it with you? I use to do that back in the day with interstate 76 and it worked fine. school computers, library, home... didn't mater aslong as it had a usb port. just played it off the drive. no transfering files, no install.

 

Doesnt solve the current DirectX error.
