How come the vehicle only obtained damage to the bumper when the actual pole is transformed to the front of the body? Do you know what the speed was at point of impact?

Because the bumper protrudes and took the majority of the impact. I don't know the impact speed, but it wasn't terribly high. Probably less than 40 mph.

40 MPH would clean wipe out that sign in the real world, lol. It would also put a lot more damage on it. Are you planning on allowing the pole to be ripped out of the ground?

Oh, well, the tires are stationary so it looked like you came to a stop.. Didn't happen to think that sign in the air = still in motion.

    My bad, XD.

heh, sometimes this forum can be quite amusing.

Actually, just asking from curiosity. Gabester, can we see you mowing down that sign again at about the same speed in super slow motion?

I've seen crashes like that at less speed and the damage is far from what it should be. I think the sign is too weak.

I think signs are highly variable in their construction and strength and I've tuned this one to be quite realistic.

Ye right, I had in mind the signs I have around my house, and looking at the screenshot again it looks pretty weak.

You should see the street signs around our area, always flat because of people speeding around the corners but they do look a bit funny when you see them flat. :)

Seems like the companies are on a budget, not bothering to reinforce those signs.

Lol. Where I live they are a bit thicker than those, and they bend a little if you crash but they stay on they're place even if you crash at 100mph.
