And why shouldn't we have competitors to already existing cars?

Because the priority should be given to car types that aren't represented in the game at all.

Also, thst would likely be a much better derby car than the Pessima.

The Pessima is so bad, a car with the LeGran and Moonhawk among its ancestors (and maybe even the LeGran's sturdy drivetrain) would easily outshine it.

It is still a late 1990s unibody with little strength.

What matters in derbying is not how long the body lasts; it's how long the drivetrain does.

I'd rather derby a Miramar than a Pessima, because while the Pessima will have a better body after a few minutes, the Miramar would still be running.

    Your suggestions?

I don't really care for these cars.

They exist some 10 thousand kilometres from me, and that's it.

I have a new brand idea for a American Luxury Car Company trying to compete with ETK that is based off of Cadillac, Lincoln, and Chrysler, it's called, "Utica" they produced 4 different types of cars from 1986 to 1994
The Smallest out of all of them is the Utica Elizabeth it comes with a 1.8 L I6, a 3.0 L V6, and it have a 3 speed automatic
The most common one out of all of them is the Utica Rome it comes with the same 3.0 L V6 from the Elizabeth, a 3.8 L V6, 3 speed automatic, and a 4 speed automatic.
The fastest one is the Utica Syracuse it comes with the same 3.8 L V6 from the Rome, a 4.2 V8, a 5.7 V8, a 4 speed automatic, and a 5 speed manual.
And finally the biggest out of all is the Utica Buffalo it comes with the same 4.2 L V8, and 5.7 L V8 from the Syracuse, a 6.5 L V8, and a 3 speed automatic.

My idea for that was Bolger, which fits pretty much all the Cadillac/Lincoln stuff, from a tarted-up compact to personal luxury cars to commercial chassisses (?) to V16 landbarges.

Though IIRC Auriga is American, so I use that.

I'd like to suggest an Auriga Heron Brookwood (Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham + Lincoln Town Car), but I cannot get round to doing it.

I know enough to know that making something like that could be possible, if given enough time. I'm working with someone right now to make one of my own models into a modded vehicle.

Except that Beam is so far from Jalopy that it would basically be making an all-new model.

Better to make stuff right for Beam.

If you can get the right model file, all you'd need to do is make sure its watertight, textured, and make a jbeam for it.

It'd look like it came right out of the game, which is the point.

There's no soft-body physics in the game, you crash and the only proof is either you get fined or you get engine damage
