Still, naming a car after the quintessence of evil and wrongness is a major marketing fail.

Yeah, because Civetta, mostly known for making high-powered Italian super cars, one day felt like making a beige grandma-mobile.

Do you ever put any form of thought into your naming?

Italian supercar makers pretty much never reuse names.

Plus, Civetta has a different model structure than Ferrari - at Ferrari,,you have a separate entry-level supercar, midrange supercar and hypercar, while as far as we can see, Civetta just uses different versions of one model for all those classes. You, however, only made the midranger.

(On the other hand, Civetta could have split the segments over time)

1994-2006 Leicht Redeemer [Volkswagen Gol Mk.2]
    It is a...

German-Brazilian manual FWD sub-compact hatchback/wagon (in RL it did have a coupe utility as well). Equipped with only a I4, and had 2 facelifts. Mostly based on the Gol, with some inspiration from the front of the Mk.4 Golf and the rear of the Bora (not the Chinese Bora).

    Misc.
Leicht is German for "easy", while the model name Redeemer is a reference to the Christ the Redeemer in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Also, the generation years were altered intentionally as this is not a 1:1 copy of the Gol.

    Why do we need it?
Because we don't have any Brazilian cars yet, and this would make a good cheap (quality and price) vehicle as well.
