Update Speculation thread

In Spain we have had even worse names than Pessima.

Mitshubishi sold the "Pajero", which in spanish literally means "Man who masturbate too often"

They later noticed the error and changed the name to "Montero", but there are still lots of Pajeros in the streets today.

Well, since NinetyNine cancelled his Miramar due to his mod being stolen, it would be fine to continue the project once you do get time to do it.

 

His mod was cancelled? That's a shame, i was looking forward to it.

I agree that you should continue the pessima/miramar project.

 

Also, I allow permission for anyone to re-edit my renders or take the idea from it, though now that I think about it... I should make that my very first mod once I start getting into modding.

I'm gonna be editing the dashboard next. Which details should I change for now when I make the render?

 

Maybe you could render a variant with fixed headlights instead of popups. So it could be better for pedestrian safety which Europe is very strict about.

 

I'll keep that in mind.
For now, I'm doing the taillights again, but with amber.
You'll see soon...

 

Pedestrian safety only became a thing when popups had more or less disappeared from most designs already.

I noticed D-Troxx already planned a non-pop up 200BX, but I'll see what I could do after the taillights and dashboard.
Speaking of the taillights...

Reshot it for the taillights, made it amber instead of white, altered some of the taillight design, and "revising" the name badge.

As for dashboard... I only changed the tachometer and the speedometer to the European ones for now.

 

Suggestion: regulation just required amber lightbulbs.

Lenses can be any color, it was pretty common at the time to have smoked or clear lenses for blinkers.

 

I guess it's how I perceived the idea.
Anyways, here's my rough render of the dashboard:

The changes here (that isn't fixing the texture) is changing the speedometer + tachometer, and the temperature panel combination with another panel.

Here's the fixed headlights, with a sleek-ish design demonstration + Silvia S15 headlights customized to fit the headlights.

I'll resize the headlights tomorrow, I might've made them a bit too sleek. I'll worry about that tomorrow, though I atleast have some renders done for the EU-200BX project.
