REALLY bad lag on a high end computer???

    It should, yes.

    Glider, there should be some way to get your version of BeamNG.drive to run in x64 mode. Go look up a way to do so.

    Driveletter:\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\Bin64 go there and start the game using BeamNG.drive.x64.exe, and it will start in 64bit "mode"

    this is my pc and I think the latest update had to have been too much for my pc to handle. It gets around 17 max fps on lowest setting

    We cannot see your video card from that screen.

    The CPU you have is sort of low-end. AMD FX CPUs in general are not much good for complex tasks, such as BeamNG's physics.
    If you also have a slow video card, then you won't get much frames out of it.
