Those are really good engines able to do alot of stuff and they hold forever

 

Just bought this Carista OBD2 device. I thought I could activate many things I had installed but weren't activated (Auto wipers, alarm beep etc...) So I'm a bit disappointed

 

so you cant? What else can it do?

 

I only turned on the needle sweep, something with the lights (made drls an option and no fogs with high beams). And with my mom's seat I made the mirrors fold everytime you lock the car. That's it.

the projector has cornering lights, dont say it doesnt work

 

Mine has it too! Too many people have told me I have a burnt fog light XD

It looks clean! Hows the engine? Is it powerful enough?
I was once being driven in a golf with the same engine (only a 4 door and an auto) and it seemed to struggle a bit...

 

It doesnt struggle with the power for me im torn between liking it and hating it doesnt have enough power (not something i cant adapt to or to little to live with it but its a bit lackluster) it has given me loads of problems just today something broke causing it to run to rich but on on the other side i love to drive it and all it handles nice doesnt feel to beaten up and it looks good but i probably wont have it for long

 

I see, old VWs have a tendency to be harsh mechanically and I wasn't surprised when you said you had problems. Good luck with it!

 

i now know at least what was causing the most problems and itll get fixed soon its a 200 euro part but the shop says its theyr fault and as i havent had the car for long theyll fix it for free but if the problem comes back or something else breakes its basically totaled money wise
