Here are some copy cat cars. Vauxhall Astra - Opel Astra - Saturn Astra - Holden Astra. -------> First Made. Vauxhall Astra. Second Made. Opel Astra. -------> Third Made. Saturn Astra. Fourth Made. Holden Astra. With the Vauxhall Zafira there are only a few copy's that other brands had made and that was Opel and Holden and I think Chevrolet as well. These Astra cars look EXTREMELY similar to each other. I have been in the Vauxhall Astra but not the Opel though. Even though that there are some Opel Astra's in my country BUT not the Holden Astra and the Saturn Astra.
Vauxhall is a subsidiary of Opel "Vauxhall Motors (/ˈvɒksɔːl/; officially Vauxhall Motors Limited) is one of the oldest established vehicle manufacturers and distribution companies in Great Britain and has its headquarters in Luton, Bedfordshire, England. It is a subsidiary of the German company Opel Automobile GmbH."
The Chevy Impala , Caprice , Biscayne , and Bel Air all are the same car but with different seats, this was kinda common during the 60's and 70's.
But that doesn't mean they're copying each other.... I mean literally, it's platform/chassis sharing, and Chevrolet weren't the only ones that did this either and it still goes on today for certain cars.
:agree x2: What about the Astra? Everyone has it all wrong. Saturn was first. Vauxhall copied Saturn, Opel copied Vauxhall, and Holden copied Opel. (This is a joke ((used already)), but please don't get triggered.
