question: i'm a painter and i have lots and lots of experience with painting for the late model mod. will the process for getting skins in the game be the same as the way you'd do it for the late model mod, and will there be a layered template?
Im not sure what the process is for the late model but i can only assume its the same. Also i do plan on making a layered template that will have all the headlights and grills and other common decals
I think that once the UV maps come out I will try making some or test out my "skill". --- Post updated --- It makes me curious though, have you guys tested the J-beam on it yet? Seeing that you were on that map made me think that may of been the case.
How do UV maps work? The wiki doesn't talk much about them. Is the painting process the same, but on a UV template?
Im going to be completely honest when i say im not 100% sure. I am learning as i go with this mod. But i think if you want to know how uv maps work you need to do your own research --- Post updated --- The im not sure about the file size but it wont be nearly as big as the beamng official cars because it doesnt have very many individual parts
Dude , this is an amazing project you've been working on for some time now , I think this is going to turn out being a very legitamint mod unlike some others
Ok this is suprising. Instead of the person joining today asking about the release, it's you? We don't know the release date and at this point it becomes kind of a pain when getting on to see that I have a notification about asking when a mod is done. If you could refrain from that I would appreciate it.
