Tdev said something like that in an interview: ""Overnight we had a million clicks," recalls Fischer, who began during the study with the development. "That's when I knew: that has potential."" To be honest, it was Youtube that made the game as popular as it is today. A large percent of the community, myself included, were first exposed to BeamNG via Youtube.
How much it even costs for a game dev to go E3? I would think those cost a LOT because it is one of the biggest and who runs the show, probably is milking AAA cow like a madman.
I'm really surprised on how fast YBR Grew in such a short amount of time. He will do a face reveal at 1 mil subs I've been subbed to him since 95k, and he's reviewed a good amount of my mods, my favorite being the Large Grid Map (speaking of which, I don't even use the normal grid map anymore, i always use my own creation, Large Grid Map.)
Some part of me suspects that the "Lots of stuff going on" has something to do with their new office. It seems that they've moved from Bremen University to the Old Town. https://www.google.com/maps/place/B...5299745420e275c3!8m2!3d53.0768335!4d8.8105735
If we are going off topic I guess I’ll chime in. Maybe we can speculate about future BeamNG advertising or something now... I stumbled across the first BeamNG videos on their official YouTube channel about 3 months after the first one was posted while I was trying to figure out how to download RoR at the request of a friend who wanted me to try it. After awhile with no updates on the game I forgot about it until KurtJMac and SpaceGK started uploading videos about it. I wish Kurt would go back to BeamNG official content videos, those are honestly my favorite on this game.
Gotcha. I'm definitely wondering how that building, which appears to have been a bank at one time, will be like for them compared to the other location.
alright, so i doubt this means anything, but Nadeox has been posting a LOT recently (well not a lot, but more than usual) and that has me wondering... is he simply not being put to work in development for some reason, or is the update so close that everyone is kindof getting a day off?... just speculation
E3 is an event that takes place each year where a multitude of games are unveiled over the course of several days. There are mostly large game developers that attend the event.
I'm just going to chip in here. I've (along with the beamng community) guessed that the new AB will be a small european car with an engine similar to Volkswagen and possibly a body shape mix of a Fiat and VW, but the logo struck me as familiar so I searched, compared side by side, and found that the AB's logo is very similar to the MG logo but slightly different in shape for obvious reasons. so would it be possible for a little bit of MG thrown in? Either way i'm curious and eager to see this car in its full glory(and then hurl it at a wall or T-series/wentward).
