I witnessed an accident a month ago while driving home from school. A white corolla in front of me was going straight through the intersection and ran the fresh red light. A purple GMC truck was turning left at the last second on the yellow going in the opposite direction. The corolla hit the front corner of the truck and I stopped to offer the footage to the guy in the truck. I gave the police my phone number as a witness. I truly didn't clearly see the accident happen since it was farther up ahead, but my dashcam pretty clearly sees the corolla run the light. The cops were not interested in the dashcam footage, surprisingly, and I never heard an update on it. Here is the link to the video:

I've been in two accidents within a month, one was from a woman who cut across two lanes while turning left while I was turning right, and I slid straight into her not expecting her to keep coming across, then she tried nailing me on damages. Insurance told her to go **** herself. Second accident was in a Mcdonalds drive thru, I had some retard reverse onto the hood of my vehicle and then take off. Dashcam caught it all on camera and the guy got a nice hit and run charge, and full damage blame. Best part was is that my front bumper was already damaged from when I slid into the woman and I get a new bumper now.

I've wrecked 2 cars. My first was a 2006 civic coupe I put into a ditch thanks to brake failure, and a Mazda 3 hatch I spun out and put into a wall. Consequences? I realized I needed a properly setup car to drive the way I do and I got to work. No issues since than.

I've never been in an accident, but here is what happened to some ppl I know.

Mom: Driving my dad's 1989 Volkswagen Fox when a lady in a large SUV runs a stop sign and slams into the side of the Fox.

Dad: Driving to work in the outer lane. There is a large semi truck in the middle lane. The semi pulls in front of my dads Oldsmobile and the trailer goes over the roof. The rear tire of the trailer hit the side of the car, and luckily the truck stopped. Had it kept going, It would have ran right over the passenger compartment of the Oldsmobile!

Friend: Driving a Silver Dodge Journey down an icy bridge. It slid, ricocheted off a guardrail, slid into another guardrail and finally stopped in the middle of the road.

    I've been in two accidents.

In the first one my grampa was taking me home in a snowstorm when the car slid off the road. Luckily it didn't hit anyone and some people stopped to push our car back on the road.

The second one was, again in the winter. My friend was driving the bike and I sat at the back. The speed was about 50-ish km/h (31 mph) when he had a brilliant idea to max the throttle at a corner. Well, obviously the moped fell causing us and the moped to slide for several meters. Once again I was really lucky to not get injured badly.

In 2014 I got t boned on the driver side by a Toyota Tundra. I was driving a 2014 Honda Civic sedan at that point (I still have this car too). The impact caused all the driver-side airbags to deploy, and I managed to get out through the passenger side unharmed. The accident had no consequences for me, but it sure did for the other driver (he ran a 2-way stop sign). His insurance had to pay out almost $12,000 to repair my Civic. I did get checked out at the ER just to be sure I was ok and I was told that I got really lucky.

I've been rear ended 3 times by people not paying attention. The last accident during my senior year of high school was the worst. I was driving to school in the morning and got to a slightly congested area and was stuck behind a few cars while the traffic lights were taking a long time to cycle through. Just as the lights were changing, I heard the infamous screeching of tires. The next thing I knew, I was firmly jolted (it actually knocked the change in my cupholder onto the floor) and the unmistakable crunch of plastic confirmed my fears. Thankfully I was still stoped so I didn't hit the car in front of me and I was able to put my car in park and enable the hazards. It turned out that the women in a Range Rover Evoque was lost and distracted by her maps so she somehow missed all the still stationary cars at the light (the road leading up to this light has a 45mph speed limit). She probably hit the Jeep Cherokee behind me at 25-35mph and thus pushed that car into the back of my poor Saturn Astra. I had to get my bumper and right taillight replaced as well as body work done to the right rear quarter panel because the Jeep tried to avoid hitting my car (this was probably a good thing looking back at it now). The Jeep lost a headlight, bumpers, probably taillights and needed to be towed as it wouldn't move under it's own power. The Range Rover had a punctured radiator (and obviously bumper) and her insurance paid for both the Saturn and Jeeps repairs. I stayed to talk to the police and called my mom so she could follow me home and then drive me to school. I went to 2 out of my 8 classes and then went home as I was very tired from the lack of adrenaline and slightly sore. If theres anything to be learned, it's to look at where you are going BEFORE leaving and investing in a good phone cradle so you don't have to take your eyes off the road.

I saw a western star with a huge frame mounted bull bar hit a deer while filled with logs in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Deer guts sprayed everywhere. The guy didn't even stop haha

That's the kind of overconfidence that gets people hurt or killed. A decent size animal can do a surprising amount of damage to even a large vehicle if it hits it just right.

I was lucky it disintegrated, if it had stayed intact it could have done more damage to my truck than just some deer guts, it could have killed me if it hit the windsheild.

I have actually using the Roamer and Covet... It was about 35mph that re-created the damage... I should re-do it using the hopper now.

Where in the UP? I consistently drive up there to get to and from school. I think I saw an elk coming home for the summer.

Aight, so I was doing like 90MPH on this road in this Civic and there was a tight corner coming up. I braked and missed my rev-match into 3rd at the beginning of the corner. That, the speed, and some gravel on the road all contributed to the car going sideways. I counter steered, stupidly (should have just matted the gas), and the car gripped and ended up pointed towards the ditch at like 40-50mph. I locked up the brakes and went off the road, hit a drainage pipe at the edge of the road which scrubbed off most of my speed. The car went airborne for a second and I said a choice word that started with an F. Then I landed in the ditch.

My glasses flew off my face and ended up in the back seat. The airbags also didn't go off.

Good news is, I wasn't ticketed and I aced the final I was trying to get to... they waited for me to get there since I binned my car.

I found a new shell and swapped the engine from the crashed car (d16y8). I blew it up in a psychotic state (rev limiter until it started to seize and then beating the piss out of it while it had a rod knock) about a year later and swapped it again to a d16y7 bottom end with a y8 head from the blown up engine.

I sold that civic this year. Now I drive a shitbox Chevy Malibu (everything is broken. a true poverty mobile), and pretty soon the new daily will be a 2006 Prius.
